I was born without language

I was born without language
umbilical cord speechlessly bandaged
by a mute midwife

I grew up at the border
under the cross-fire from two languages
which have whipped my tongue
to dumbness

I was raised
with demands of clarity
language and nationality

I was whipped at school
into language, clarity
nationality
I was whipped to contempt
for that which was mine
the want of a language
and the border

I was built by exterior
violence
as well as interior constraint
on abbreviations
and misunderstandings

I was deprived of my identity card

[This poem from a author and a poet from my home grounds points to the fact that many in this area does not speak neither Swedish nor Finnish but Meänkeli which is a mix of the two languages (with some Sami mixed in). Very old Finnish and very old Swedish as that. It's incoprehensible for native Swedes aswell as for native Finns].

Back again

Have had some pretty rough days. Feeling a little better now, just in time for my little trip- thank you! How nice would it have been to have to spend a week in the hotel room in bed? Because going we are! My son has allready packed his bag (a cabin bag) full of toys. I'm having real trouble explaining to him that he should pack clothes instead. Well- I think I have to do it the sneaky way and pack his bag the night before we are going when he is asleep.

I find religion... Hmm! Interresting. I have read the bible several times. I have read the quran (and what a drag that was). I have read about other religions aswell. Mostly out of curiosity but also because I needed to understand the context of the texts. As you know I'm the lowliest of life. I'm an unbeliwer. Well according to some people anyway.

I have respect for those who have found religion. Suit your self! Make your own bed! Keep it personal! What I have a hard time to find respect for though is the dogmas, the churches (not the actual buildings- they can be quite beautiful after all) and all those who make big bucks of the whole enterprise. And If some one tells me that I can't make mockery of and critisise any religion, they can go to Malmö. Right now islam is the one religiously cloaked ideology that is most worthy of being ridiculed, and in my opinion will continue to be for the forseeable future. But to balance it up a little.

Here is George Carlin's take on the Ten Commandments.

New York City

NYC is a fantastic and grand city. I have never had the pleasure to visit the city and only knows it by media, but still, it's fantastic!

NYC also has roughly as many inhabitants as Sweden do as a whole. There are no statistics been done here in Sweden just yet for this new year about murders. But after reading media you can conclude that atleast 15 and maybe as much as 20 murders have been comitted here during the first quarter (and then we also have all those muslim women who mysteriously falls down from balconys all the time- Well you get the picture...).

During the first quarter in NYC 6 (six) homicides were reported!

Makes you think huh?

Fewer regulations= Fewer accidents

Here is something interresting news from Svenskt Näringsliv (Swedish Buissnes- Swedish only, but there might be some links in English out there).

A number of cities in Europe has got rid of traffic lights, traffic signs, pedestrian crossings, and even in some cases even the sidewalks.

Mayhem and carniage you think?

In fact the experiment showed that traffic related accidents declined heavilly!

Motorists aswell as bicyklists and pedestrians took more care and the traffic still worked as smooth as before.

That's what you get with regulations. People stops taking care, because they think that the regulations them selves magically will protect them!

Fire and ice- The winter war

If you have the chance, I urge you all to watch the documentary Fire and Ice- The winter war. Finland and Russia. Here is a link to the Swedish verision. But I'm certain that the English verision is some where out there if you look around.

For me it has some sentimental value as my father comes from the areas affected by this conflict (on the "wrong" side of the border- but still pro Finland), of which very few people have any clue about today.

Jihad Watch Contest time! Bomb, Iraqi dough found in stolen car in New Mexico, Feds rule out terrorism

It's time for a Jihad Watch contest! The FBI says they have ruled out terrorism. Still, I can't help but wonder what Iraqis would be doing with a bomb and a stolen car in New Mexico. I'll send a free autographed copy of one of my books (your choice) to the person who can solve this mystery for me, and come up with the best (most imaginative, most entertaining, loopiest, most outlandishly plausible) explanation.

Read the rest over at Jihad Watch

As I'm not registered over at Jihad watch, I can't contribute over there and I'm too lazy to register. But maybe Robert Spencer stumbles over his keyboard and ends up here magically.

Here it goes:

Iraqui money? What the heck were they doing there with Iraqui money? With the ongoing hyperinflation in Iraq my best guess is that these fellows were going to use it as toilet paper.

The bomb? Well obviously if you have to go to do number two, you need a latrin!

Conclusion: These fine people was obviously campers...

Affermative Action

According to SIS Ägarservice there are only 18.2% women on the boards of stock market owned companies. Marita Ulvskog- the party secretary of the social democrates- finds this to be a "gender unequality" and want's to legislate for a affermative action law.

Besides the fact that the number 18.2% almost excactly meets the numbers of women with buissness, law or engineering degrees (where most of the board members are recruited from). You also wonder. If womans as a group should be cvoted int to company boards, why not then homosexuals? People of African origin? Muslims? One armed, one legged, one eyed former pirates? (Ok, that last one was a bit over the top in this day and age- but you get my drift...).

If more women would start their own companies and put them on the stock market, this proplem would solve it self! But they don't! Why? I don't know. There are theories of course. One of them is that we have almost excusively had a social democratic government for the past 70 years or so- who through regulations have made it so hard to start your own company that many just do not want to take the risc. Another theory in combination with the first is that; men are willing to take the higher riscs, will crash and burn more often, but will also succeed more often.

One thing is for shure. As a company president or owner, you would be an idiot to overlook some one qualified because of gender, race or religion.

It's so bizarre that it can't be described. Just watch it here. Think maybe of a mix between Teletubbys and Jackass...

Global warming- A hoax! And Gore for the new democratic presidential candidate?

[...]

Snipped from an article entitled
Solar-Cycle Warming at the Earth’s Surface and an Observational Determination of Climate Sensitivity.
By Ka-Kit Tung and Charles D. Camp
Department of Applied Mathematics
University of Washington, Seattle Washington

Let's take a short glance at the equation at the left, because you're never going to see anything like it again in this editorial. To most of you, it is gobbly-gook, but to a physicist, it is part of a mathematical proof accompanying a particular study done on the sun's role in Global Warming. What the authors are explaining is they have found that the total solar irradiance (TSI) has been measured by orbiting satellites since 1978 and it varies on an 11-year cycle by about 0.07%. So, from solar min to solar max, the TSI reaching the earth’s surface increases at a rate comparable to the radiative heating due to a 1% per year increase in greenhouse gases, and will probably add, during the next five to six years in the advancing phase of Solar Cycle 24, almost 0.2 °K to the globally-averaged temperature, thus doubling the amount of transient global warming expected from greenhouse warming alone. Whew....

Don't fret - neither Al Gore nor any of the Popular Journalists can understand it either.

We'll try to reference most of the material, but if we miss a credit, or use a photograph someone didn't want to share with the world (OK, we wonder why the photo was on the web if that were the case) we'll quickly remove it with our apologies. And let's freely admit up front that what we offer here is a dissenting opinion, and surely we have "cherry-picked" the articles of others which are also contrary to the widely held current beliefs. A bit of this is original on our part, but most of it comes from others around the globe. We have tried to present work from what we believe to be credible, thoroughly diligent scientists actively engaged in current research. Let's get started:

We're reminded of an earlier story, which happened back in 1912. This was the amazing discovery of a skull and jawbone in which was quickly named the Piltdown Man and which all the world's archaeologists immediately accepted as a hitherto unknown form of early human. It appears no one bothered to examine it closely, assuming that other scientists had thoroughly investigated and vetted it. The hoax wasn't uncovered until 1953, when it was learned that the skull was that of a modern man and the jaw that of an orangutan. Seems no one had ever bothered to take a really close look at the artifact.

Well, folks, it does appear we have a new, 21st Century Piltdown Man, and this time we know his name.

He's called "Anthropogenic Global Warming" [...]

Non of the prsidential candidates of the democratic party in the USA can win the election for prcidency candidates on their own hand. And while the candidates have a sand box fight over who should be, a ghost from the past is boohing in the corridores. Namely our old frien Al Gore! The man. The myth. The totally screwed up Norwegian peace prize winner (It is not! I repeat not, the Swedish Nobel Prize commission that selects the peace prize winners- nor has it anything to do with the Nobel cermony or what Mr Nobel donated his money for!).

U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney, whose district includes much of Martin and St. Lucie counties, is hoping he won’t have to attend the Democratic Party national convention in Denver in August.

If he does go, that will mean the Democrats still haven’t decided a nominee for the presidential election. And if neither Sen. Hillary Clinton nor Sen. Barack Obama has clinched the nomination by August, Mahoney says we may see a brokered convention, meaning the nominee could emerge from a negotiated settlement.

“If it (the nomination process) goes into the convention, don’t be surprised if someone different is at the top of the ticket,” Mahoney said.

A compromise candidate could be someone such as former vice president Al Gore, Mahoney said last week during a meeting with this news organization’s editorial board.

Travels part IV

After a couple of days of cathcing rays, we descided to do something else for a ghange. We rented a couple of motorcykles. Our plan was to go to a beach in the south east which was supposed to have pink sand (actually seashells). Then we got the brilliant idea of making a shortcut through the island rather than take the freeway.

After driving around- hoplessly lost- for a couple of hours, we had to make a brake. As my sister is a diabetic, she needed some glukose (sugar) and to make her insuline shot. We found a taverna at the side of the road and stopped there. We took a table in the outside and the owner of the establishment soon showed up to waiter us. I was thirsty so I ordered a glass of orange juice. The owner/waiter asked me if I wanted "fresh" juice and I said that "Yes, that would be nice!"

He went away, and a minute later came back with a ladder, climbed up in one of the trees in the garden, picked some oranges and then continued back to the kitchen to press them for me!

He was pecurilarly glad to have us as guests. When he heard that we were from Sweden, he got all excited and told us "that he loved Swedes". To celebrate the occation he ordered a big can of´the local moonshine to our table, and pored up glass after glass of it to us. Whenever he was looking the other way I poured it out in a plant pot near me. I mean, I was driving a motocykle on the nastiest roads with the nastiest traffic you can imagine after all.

My brother in law pulled out a map and asked the guy were we were. After some afterthought (the guy was heavilly drunk) we came to the conclution that after six hours of riding the bikes, we were no more than 5 Km from our hotel...

'Swedish feminists should embrace free markets'

Swedish feminists could well secure more support if they decided to embrace free markets rather than left wing ideologies, argues Nima Sanandaji of the Captus think tank.

The modern feminist movement has clear left wing tendencies, with many feminists assuming that market economies are built upon structures that oppress women.

But is this necessarily true? One could make the argument that market economies actually create opportunities for women, while public monopolies within welfare systems limit women’s careers.

Feminist intellectuals in Sweden have become rather influential. Their ideas are supported by the state and incorporated within all levels of public education and research. However, although suggestions such as a “man tax” have been brought forward, feminist ideas have in many cases not been translated into public policy.

The feminist party, Feminist Initiative, was given ample opportunities to reach out to the Swedish electorate during the 2006 elections, but received few votes.

The lack of progress for feminism might be due to the strong influence of left wing ideology, which creates alienation. Many Swedish feminists readily mix Marxist ideas with the women’s cause.

For example, in a speech given at Lund University, one of the leading figures of Swedish feminism, Professor Tiina Ronsenberg is quoted as saying: “Do not be depressed – act. Sooner or later the patriarchy and capitalism will fall, I promise!”

Another example is that of Gudrun Schyman. The leading figure in the Swedish feminist party is also the former leader of the Swedish Left Party, which used to be tied to the Soviet Union. Understandably, feminist ideas become less relevant for public policy decisions when strongly tied to radical left wing ideology.

[...]

Professional women are also hurt by the monopolies, since employment in the public sector is often characterized by low wages. This is the reason why American nurses, who often work in the private sector, have the same salaries as Swedish doctors, usually employed by the public sector. Jobs in the public sector are also associated with bad working conditions. In Sweden, half of those on long term sick leave are found within the public sector, which only employs a third of the workforce.

Yes, by all means. Why are feminists also almost exclusively hard core socialists?

The path to Swedish asylum: A smuggler speaks

From The Local

Rami Abdelrahman travels to Jordan and tracks down the first link in the chain of an underground operation involved in the smuggling of Iraqi refugees to Sweden.

“Immigration services, immigration services,” Jabber calls to Iraqis walking towards the Swedish Embassy in Amman. His office stationery consists of a deck of cheap yellow business cards with a mobile number printed in black. His “company” is called International Immigration Services, or so says the card.

Jabber has stationed himself on the low wall of The Salahuddin Mosque in front of the embassy. He makes petty cash by selling postage stamps, filling out applications and translating Arabic texts into English.

But occasionally Jabber has some big money rolling in, when he arranges for those who fail to get a Swedish visa to fly to the Scandinavian country through a sophisticated smuggling network.

“Business has been regressing in the last year or so,” he tells The Local during an interview at a café in Jabal Al Weibdeh, one of Amman’s seven main hills and “home” to thousands of Iraqi refugees.

Jordan has more than 400,000 Iraqi refugees, according to the latest official study carried out by the Jordanian government in conjunction with Fafo, a Norwegian agency experienced in the compilation of immigration statistics. According to their report, 40 percent of these refugees would like to move to a third country.

Jabber, a middle-aged Jordanian of Palestinian origin, has been in business since the 1980s. He says the highlight of his career was between 2004 and 2006, when he helped more than 80 Iraqis into Europe, each yielding more than $3,000 in revenue.

“We had more routes open for us then and more people interested in fleeing to Europe. We never worked with arranging fake passports, but helped Iraqi passport holders to get to Greece or Italy with their real identification documents,” says Jabber, his words emerging through cigarette smoke and the scent of Turkish coffee.

If the "refugees" gets their way in to the Schengen area, there is almost no way to stop them. They toss away their passports, and by doing that (if they're not so stupid to actually admit were they come from)- immgration rules says that we can't deport them. Now! I can understand why the Iraquis and the Somalis want to come here in the first place. It's a fairly free society. In fact it's so free that they freely can continue to belive in their totalitarian ideologies- and will do so. Not to mention that they after some years here are free to go back to their countrys of origin (many do), when they have managed to get life- time support from the Swedish state.

How happy I'm to live in a free state! A state so free that 90% of the women now according to polls are afraid that they will be gang- raped. Sigh!

Islam intrinsically violent - convert

From The Sunday telegraph (My comments in Italics)

ITALIAN editor and critic of Islamic extremism Magdi Allam, who converted to Catholicism from Islam and was baptised by Pope Benedict XVI, today branded his former faith as intrinsically violent.

"I had to do this (abandon Islam)", Allam wrote in a long letter to the Italian daily Corriere della Sera.

"Beyond ... the phenomenon of extremists and Islamist terrorism at the global level, the root of evil is inherent to a physiologically violent and historically conflictual Islam," wrote the Egyptian-born journalist, who says he has received death threats and is under police protection.

One of seven adults baptised during an Easter vigil yesterday evening, Allam, 55, is an editorial writer and deputy editor at Corriere.

Regarding a combative tone that has made him famous in Italy, Allam wrote: "Over the years my spirit has been freed from the obscurantism of an ideology that legitimises lies and deception, violent death that leads to homicide and suicide, blind submission to tyranny."

He described Catholicism as "an authentic religion of Truth, Life and Freedom".

Well- there are of course different degrees of hell, so to speak. While the Catholic church might not have waged direct war for a century or so, there are many connections to and bootlicking of totalitarian ideologies- including islam itself. Truth? What is truth and who is to be the superior being to descide what the truth is? Dalai Lama? The Pope? somebody else? As for "freedom", sorry dude but Catholicism has dogmas too. Either you have freedom. Total freedom, or non at all! Even without religion; the state has taken away a lot of freedoms from the people, and the socialists yearns to take even mor freedoms away from the people. But then of course. I rather want a Catholic church being built next door than the mosque they want to build.

Go and read the rest (link at the top of the page. Sorry for the formatting. Either Blogspot is screwing it up again or the Telegraph has some wierd HTML coding...).

Travels part III

The travel agency girl explained to me that after arrawing at their office in Heraklion, they would arrange for a cab fair to Chania. But on arriwal, they discovered that the bus driver lived in Chania, and because it was the end of his shift he was going there anyways- so I had the "fortune" being a lone passanger in the bus for several hours. At this time my journey had been allready going on for about 36 hours and I only had had one hour of sleep. He (the busdriver) was a nice fellow though, he even bought me some orange juice at a gas station when we had to refill the bus.

But! At last I arriwed at the hotel in the outskirts of Chania. I met up with my sister (wh0 gave me a bear hug) and with my brother in law.

We had specified a two room apartement with an extra bed. And shure enough- that was what we got. Only thing that the second room was the kitchen. And the extra bed was a 170 centimeter long concrete sofa molded in to the kitchen wall. Me being 186 cm in lenght... Well let's just say that the two weeks we spent there put some serious strain on my limbs.

After only having had airplane food for nearly two days, I was famined. So we descided to go in to Chania city for some dinner. Here is the braniacs in motion! Remember that I told you that my brother in law walked the two kilometers to the travel agensys office? In Sweden, taking a cab fair is very expensive (as everything else). We only later found out that the fair in chania only costed about $ 2.50 for going about two kilometers! "TOCK" is the sound of my hand slapping on to my forehead!

Anyway; we descided to walk in to the city center. We never even got near it and ended up at an restaurant a kilometer from the city center, were I was served a (litterally) bloody chicken.

To be continued...

Travels part II

On the plane- while in flight- it was explained to me that we were not to land at the airport of Chania, which were were I was supposed to go, but at the airport of Heraklion- a two hour busride from the hotel. I had allready been flying for 6 hours so this on top of that was... Well bloodpresure heightening.

Meanwhile, my sister and my brother in law was getting worried. Even though I had specifically asked the travel agency to notice them about the delay. They never did it.

My sister got hyper after a while and nagged until my brother in law went off to the travel agencys local office. For some reason he descided to take a "short cut" over the beaches (Why did'nt he take a cab? - I'll come to it later...).

After walking two kilometers in the powdery sand under the sun he finally arriwed at the office, warm and sweaty. He was not in a particulary good mood by then and demanded that the agency would find his wifes "kid brother".

Meanwhile I was crammed up in the airliner with a couple of hundred drunken people. They were totally sensless. When we were about to land many people stood up, taking pictures while the other ones clapped their hands and the flight stewarsesses frantically shouted to them to sit down and buckle up- to now availe.

After finally collecting my luggage I went out to the reception area. I did not have a clue what to do so I just looked for the travel agencys uniforms. After a while I cought sight of their disticntive uniforms and went over to them. Lo and behold! One of the girls- a very pretty one I might ad- was standing there holding up a sign with my name on it. "Sweet" I thought, walked up to her and said that that was I. The poor thing gasped and took a step backwards. They had been expecting a child while what was standing in front of her was a a man in his thirties. Seriously hung over, unshaved and sleep depraved. After a while, after discussing matters, she wanted to hang the sign board around my neck because of "company policies". I refused at first, but made the girl almost cry, so there I was, with a name sign around my neck on a bus that would take me as far as Heraklion city...

Travels

In just about twoo weeks I'll be going off to Teneriffe. It will also be just about ten years since I did my first charter trip. I have travelled around Europe quite much but had never done it as a charter tourist until then.

We were a party of three. My sister and my brother in law flied from Gothenburg while I Flew from Kallax- Luleå (northern part of Sweden). They were touching down at Crete a couple of hours before I was supposed to arriwe.

So I took my car and drowe south for the 250 km trip that would take me to Kallax. When I arriwed there, they said that the plane was broken and I would have to wait until early morning before they could get a replaicment aircraft for us.

I was given a hotel room at a hotel a couple of kilometers from the airport. So there I was, on a Friday night, without anything to do. As it happened, my kid sister in those days worked at a bar- Tallkotten- in Luleå. So I thought "What a heck. I'll take a cab in to town and have a few ones".

Late at night I returned to my hotel room heavily intoxicated, slumped down on the bed and was woken up just an hour later by the hotel staff alarming me of the taxi departure for the airport.

On arriwal, I noticed that most of the passangers was hicks, and they were drinking heavilly although it was just06.30 AM! I learned that we were going to fly in a MD8 rather than in the Airbus we from the beginning was supposed to have- Bummer! With all the extra seats crammed in, I knew I would have a hard time to fit in.

Well boarded I found myself sitting at the outer seat with a married pair inside. The woman was sitting closest to the window, and it seemed that she had some serious bladder problems, because every thirty minutes she wanted to go to the bathroom. Meanwhile her husband drank whiskey- one after another.

After the third time or so that the woman left for the loo, the husband sat down before me and took down that folding table and put down his glass of whiskey on it. I tried to put my ass on the chair (with my knees around my ears), but my shirt caught hold of the table with the whiskey glass. It worked as a spring board! The glass took air, made a couple of sommersaults before landing in the patrons crotch...Needless to say, he was not particulary happy, and we had four more hours of flight.

Live as you learn or pure hypochrasy?

The social democratic opposition leader Mona Sahlin and the former social democratic PM Göran Persson is taking a little trip to Antarctica to investigate and discuss possible environmental impacts done by man.

First they are flying to Chile. That will make up for twice as much CO2 pollution as an ordinary Swede let out in a year (around 8 metric tonnes).

After their stay in Chile they will continue to fly 700 km more down south to Antarctica, a trip that is done in congression with the international socialists climate comission. There they will meet up with the ministers of environment of Great Britain, Germany and Spain. What the socialist environment politicians will study- that the scientists on site allready have not discovered- nobody knows.

Socialism squared

In Sweden you have to pay a "TV- license" if you own a TV- set. Yes thats right. In most other countrys you have to have a license to drive a car, or own a gun or do welding jobs- but here in Sweden you need a license to own a TV- set!
The TV-license is said to be there for finacing public television. It does not matter if you actually watch those channels (as I for example never do) you still have to pay for them (besides paying for the commercial financed channels- how about that!). If you own a TV- set you have to pay the license fee.

But now "public service television channels" are going to put out all their programmes on the internet (streaming low quality video). The abrá- cadabra of it all is that everybody who are connected to the internet will be forced to pay the licence fee, whether or wheter not you own a TV- set or see the programmes over the internet!

I don't know about you- but I don't care for paying for game shows and other crap which I do not want to see in the first place. I have not watched a program at public service channels for atleast five years! In my opinion they owe me several thousands of crowns...

But, nah! They just keep on screwing me until the flesh of my fingertips is ground down to the bone!

I know, I shouldn't, but here it comes; Ggggggnnnaaaaarrrrggggghhhh!

Debt agency makes spacewalk seem like a cakewalk

A simple drive around metropolitan Stockholm nearly two years ago continues to cause headache.

According to a recent ruling by the Administrative Court of Appeal, the Swedish Enforcement Authority (Kronofogden) has the right to keep Fuglesang on its registry of people with unpaid debts, because of 580 kronor ($96) in late traffic fees.

It all began in July of 2006 when Fuglesang drove his US-registered Saab through congestion charge pay stations around Stockholm. The stations assess fees to drivers through an automatic sensor or by taking a picture of cars license plates and then sending a bill to the address where the car is registered.

Because his car was registered to an outdated address, Fuglesang never received word that he was liable for the fees, according the newspaper Dagens Nyheter.

By the time the authorities finally got in touch with Fuglesang four months later, he was in the US set to blast off on the space shuttle Discovery to become the first Swede in space.

Once back on earth, Fuglesang paid the fee as soon as he could--even though the National Tax Board of Sweden later forgave the charges on the grounds that foreign registered cars are free from congestion charges.

But by that time, Fuglesang already had a mark by his name on the debt agency's registry, which then appealed a lower court ruling that the astronaut’s name ought to be removed.
The Administrative Court of Appeal has now sided with the agency, finding that Fuglesang's car was in fact temporarily registered in Sweden at the time and that “people who have emigrated should inform the Swedish Road Administration when they change their address in Sweden.”

Fuglesang has three weeks to appeal the ruling to the Supreme Administrative Court.
So now Fuglesang cant get any loans, get a credit card or even rent a frikking DVD for up to ten years! It's like- "IN SPACE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU SCREAM!" (Thanks HAX)

Welfare Wean

Siamak Alian is something of a rarity in a Scandinavian welfare state -- a successful immigrant entrepreneur. Mr. Alian came to Sweden in 1989 with a degree in nuclear physics from the University of Tehran. Unable to find a job in his field, he pursued a degree in electronics and alongside his studies founded a computer equipment import company. Within six years, his firm grossed some €10 million annually.

[Welfare Wean]
Ryan Inzana

Mr. Alian notes that many in his surroundings initially advised against becoming an entrepreneur: "Why should one start a business?" they asked. [...]Especially for immigrants, the first signal from Swedish society is not that you ought to work, let alone become self-employed. The message is that the state will take care of you.

In the Western world, Sweden is often considered a Social Democratic paradise, the irrefutable proof that the welfare state can transform society for the better. But outsiders, and still too many Swedes, tend to overestimate the gains and underestimate the costs of social engineering.

To start with, homogenous Sweden was already an egalitarian society with few social problems before the expansion of the welfare state. It is often forgotten that in 1950 Sweden had lower taxes, fewer trade restrictions and more hours worked per working-age person than contemporary U.S. -- and yet was already blessed with essentially the same flat income and wealth distribution it has today, half a century after the expansion of the welfare state.

In the 1950s and 1960s, the integration of migrants worked quite well. The foreign-born had a 20% higher employment rate than native Swedes in 1950. Half a century later, in the mature welfare state, the picture has dramatically changed. According to the latest figures, only 48% of non-Western immigrants are gainfully employed, which is 30 percentage points below the average. For this group, originating from places such as Turkey, Chile, the former Yugoslavia, the Middle East and North Africa, welfare dependency is nine times higher than for native Swedes.

No doubt, a generous welfare system initially helps many immigrant families, cushioning the transition to a new country. However, the combination of high taxes, a regulated labor market, the world's highest union-imposed minimum wages and the lavish transfer programs effectively keeps out immigrants from the labor market.

No doubt these people wants to work and make a living on their own. It's just that we dont let them do it! We try to "integrate" them in to the society rather than assimilate them, which of course only leads to a separated and segregated society were extremism get it's foothold. We don't have a "melting pot"- we have a "salad bowl".

Still braniachs like Gore and his likes (I refrain from doing the obvious pun here) are making millions on hysteric doomsdays messages with no anchorship in science what so ever!

Remeber that only 15 years ago the very same loonies with an open purse said that a new ice age was coming.

What the environmental (that's a pun) nut jobs doe not realise is that through the history of earth we've not only had much warmer periods, but also that warmer periods superceeds rize in athmospheric levels of CO2 and temperatures decline before CO2 levels does!

Grape Vine was cultured here in Sweden a thousand years ago, and mysteriously the ice bears have lived through the warmer periods aswell as ice agaes during the past 100 000 years or so.

The Little Ice Age (LIA) was a period of cooling occurring after a warmer era known as the Medieval climate optimum. Climatologists and historians find it difficult to agree on either the start or end dates of this period. Some confine the Little Ice Age to approximately the 16th century to the mid 19th century. It is generally agreed that there were three minima, beginning about 1650, about 1770, and 1850, each separated by slight warming intervals.

The Swedish army was able to walk over Öresund (the sea that's between Sweden and Denmark). Only a hundred years later (1950th:s) we had the warmest summers known in modern time- maybe for the exception of the early 21:th century.

Today we have had a blizzard (well- not really by MY standards. By sweet frikking Jesus! People tend to have road accidents and drive off the road when there are half an inch of snow that has fallen! Back home people would not even have picked in the sun chairs in to storage...) here in the south of Sweden, we've allready had a couple of months of spring with sprouting leafs, flowers blooming and Cantharellus mushrooms growing. In China and India they have had the coldest winters ever recorded. Eastern USA have been cold while we in northern Europe have had the warmest winter for a century- in spite of the snow/slush that fell down today. Yesterday the weatherman on the news said- backed up by supercomputers and the brightest minds in metherology that we can munster here, that it would be a clear day! How then can Gore or ANY other alarmist tell us what the climate will be in a 100 years? A thousand years?

Glad I'm going here in a couple of weeks...

Muslims Announce 5 New Holy Sites

As is rather well known, Muslims have the funny habit of appropriating other people's holy sites or just property and announcing that they're now a Muslim holy site. This is particularly helped, when Mohammed FBUH (Fleas Be Upon Him) had visited there, or someone had claimed he visited there or someone could make up a wacky story about him being taken there by an angel on a flying horse. (Seriously, if you've got an angel already, why do you also need the flying horse? It seems redundant.)

In any case Muslims have now announced the 5 new holy sites they will be naming. As per usual these sites will now become off limits to non-Muslims and Muslims will be entitled to fight a Jihad to recover them back into Muslim hands.

The White House

Mohammed HTFBUH (High Tax Fees Be Upon Him) reportedly visited the White House as a guest of President Millard Fillmore, slept in the Lincoln Bedroom (which was then called, the 'Give Me A Bribe and You Can Spend the Night Bedroom) and tried to molest some of the President's carriage horses.

As such the highest authorities in Islam (three blind clerics who live in Cairo and still think it's 1922 and want an end to British colonial rule) have announced that the White House from now is to be off-limits to non-Muslims unless they're there to serve incoming President, Barack Hussein Obama.

Walt Disney World

Muslims devoutly believe that an angel took Mohammed on a midnight ride on a flying horse through time all the way to Walt Disney World where Mohammed PBUH (Peas Be Upon Him) rode Mr. Toad's wild ride, shrieked in horror at all the costumed characters and had too much pizza and threw up on the teacup ride. The Koran does not state why the angel did this, but it is believed that Mohammed had a good time.

As such the Ummah (acronym for Uncivilized Mass of Muslim Antisemitic Haters) now claim Walt Disney World as the sole property of the Muslim nation where it will be used to train Jihadi warriors for possible future battles against giant rodents, talking dogs and enemies who attack from space.

In other words, every day at Disney World, will now be gay day.

McDonalds

McDonalds, all McDonalds everywhere belong to Muslims, as Mohammed is now believed to have also set foot in a McDonalds, while he was visiting Walt Disney World. Mohammed mistakenly ordered a hamburger, ate it all, demanded another and menaced the cashier with his sword. He was escorted out by security still threatening to smite the red shirted infidels.

From now on all McDonalds outlets anywhere are now to be under Muslim management and will boast the new McSheep Burger and the Suicide Bombed Fries, especially prepared by the patented Muslim method of having the fry cook blow himself up admist the fries.

Your House

Mohammed is once believed to have visited your house. As such it is now a Muslim holy site. You are please asked to vacate your house immediately, unless you wish to convert to Islam, in which case you will be allowed to remain as a lowly servant. Please do not protest. The devout wishes of a billion Muslims and their sacred religious feelings on the subject clearly outweigh your deed to your property and any legal rights you may have. Should you refuse, you will be murdered. In your sleep.

From now on the devout followers of Mohammed LBUH (Lease Be Upon Him) will take it upon themselves to eat all your rosebushes and bathe in your toilet. They will also pray eleven times a day for heavenly (moonly) assistance in killing you and reclaiming what was once imaginarily theirs.

Hell

It has come to the attention of the followers of the prophet that Mohammed once visited Hell and remained to reside there permanently. As such Hell is now the holiest Muslim site there is. Shortly all the remaining Muslims will be making pilgrimages there to be with their prophet.

All non-Muslims are asked to stay away from Hell, as this is now exclusively Muslim property, reserved for Muslims only.

We hope they will be very happy there.

Oil prices

WAILUKU, Hawaii - "Maui No Kai Oi" is a popular Hawaiian saying that means Maui is the best. Mike Sweeney recently moved to this idyllic island from Denver and was hit with the other side of living in paradise with his first visit to the gas pump: Maui is also No. 1 in gas prices.

[...]

He was elated about living on Maui and being reunited with his black, super-size pickup truck, which just arrived from Colorado, but he wasn't so thrilled about paying nearly $4 for a gallon of regular.

While the price of oil climbs above $110 a barrel, most Americans dread the day they will have to pay $4. On this tropical island and a few stations in California, $4 gas has already arrived, straining the pocketbooks of residents and businesses.

Link

$4 a gallon. Lordie, lordie. What shall we do? HEH! Here petrol/gasoline cost's more than twice that much! Eat that up yankees... (c; But it does not stop there. To even get a car in the first place you have to pay twice as much for the same make and model here. We earn less per capita and have a total tax pressure of 47. 8%. 4 dollars a gallon, 4 dollars a gallon. Arrrgh! Even milk costs' more here...

Oh those Danes

It's not often that I agree with socialists. I do not know how I possibly could have missed this, but apparently Villy Søvndal, the party leader of Socialistisk folkeparti (that is about as communistic you can get), has told the press the following about the organisation hizb-uth-tahir, that want to instill a sharia goverment in Denmark.

- I want to tell these men of darkness: Go to hell! If they so eagerly want's to live in a religious dictatorship they can go to the middle east were they exist.

- If they are so flatheaded that they really want's to have a caliphate and sharia laws, then they have come to the wrong country. They have nothing to do with Denmark, and they will not reach the goals they are yearning for.

The result?

SF has now surpassed the social democrates in polls. (But then again: There are different degrees of hell...)

A womans right

I'm for a womans right to descide over her body. When my sons mother got pregnant we discussed the option (as we were not a pair). I was doing medical studies at the time, lived a bachelors life and thought that there were no room in my life for a child. Luckily she refused and here I'm to day, with a soon to be five year old sunshine in my life.

In Sweden you can have an abortion up to the pregnancy's 18:th week. In special cases up to the 28:th week. After that it is legaly a child. Even that is a stretch I think, if the mothers life is not at stake.

But as I understand it- in the USA you can have an abortion up to the 40:th week. and something called "Partial Abortion" are practiced. That is just gross!

Heck! Give me these babies. I will find room for them- somehow.
What do you think of it?

Man sentenced for carrying offensive placard

A man who displayed a placard accusing immigrants of group rape at an anti-racism rally has been convicted of agitation against an ethnic group.

During a March 2007 rally organized in the south west coast town of Ängelholm by SSU, the youth wing of the Social Democratic Party, the man was seen holding a sign reading, “While Swedish girls are being group raped by immigrant gangs the SSU is fighting racism.”

The man was arrested and eventually indicted on charges of agitation against an ethnic group, according to the Helsingborgs Dagblad newspaper.

During his trial, the man claimed he simply wanted to point out the absurdity of holding a demonstration against racism and hoped the sign would spark debate. He asserted he was simply expressing an opinion, which is a right afforded to him under the European Convention on Human Rights.

[While I know nothing of the mans real intentions, it's a fact that gangrapes was virtually unheard of 15 years ago before the mass immigration started. While there are no official statistics about the perps (it's not allowed here in Sweden) It is not that hard to get info on this matter. Let's just say that statistics have been done in Norway, and they show that gangrapes exclusively are done by immigrants- with Sxxxxxx* in majority. The trialed man (lawyer) are also absolutely right in that it IS his right under the ECHR to express himself in this way. Moreover "immigrants" could hardly be said to be an "ethnic group". This stinks- in more than one way!]

But District Prosecutor Lars Danielsson disagreed, arguing that the man “expressed disrespect for a group of people with reference to their national or ethnic background.”

[Immigrants is still not an ethnic group!Swedes are. Samis are, but not "immigrants"!]

The court agreed with Danielsson, fining the man 4000 kronor ($650).

In its decision, the court found the placard made gross generalizations that immigrants are inclined to rape Swedish girls, which falls under the legal definition of disrespect.

[But no one has proven that the man is wrong! They can't and therefore he should never have been convicted...]

The court furthermore rejected the man’s free speech argument by pointing out that he could have expressed his opinions in a manner other than wandering around the Ängelholm central square on a Saturday morning carrying an offensive sign, and that even the human rights convention has its limits.

[The human rights convention CAN NOT have limits. Either we have free speach or we do not! BY god! I've only read law for a couple of semesters but this is outrageous. Even by Swedish standards. This is what you get when the courts are politiciced with political party member sitting as judges (Nämndemän- there are no translation I can think of) rather than people that actually know law! I don't care if the convicted man is a raging racist. What he did was using his rights for free speech. But not only will he almost ceartainly win an appeal in EU court, but also by then, milions will have been spent of the Swedish taxpayers money. Aaaaaarrrrrggh!]

*At first I wrote the nationality out. Lets just say people from the African continent. I have not got the time to spare for legal shit. And for those of you that might try- African people are NOT an ethnic group- neither are North East African muslims!

Sweden - Islam's victory in Europe

This is an oldie- but well worth seeing again. Video

In the comments section you can find this:

I am a serb from bosnia.

In march 2004, kosovo albanians went on rampage, burning more than 100 serbian churches in kosovo, some of them being ancient medieval monasteries. Then a bunch of revolted angry young men in belgrade set a mosque to fire, and what? - CNN, BBC and all other world media showed how serbs burned a mosque, and none showed burning churches.
You can find videos of albanian terror in kosovo here on youtube.

Indeed. Why did we not heare of the burning churches in the MSM? Or the atrocities the Serbian people had to withstand on their own land? Why did USA bomb them when the muslims did every possible atrocity to the christian Serbs that the Serbs did to them in return?

Why?

Sharia financing

[...]

Investments in the Islamic Finance Industry worldwide are now worth about $700 BILLION dollars. Moody's Investor Services estimated this in a report put out in February 2008. The countries that are the largest contributors to Shariah Finance are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar,Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and Dubai. These countries have seen this type of growth due to the rise of oil prices that we are now paying for. Every increase in the price of gas at the pump is a step closer to a life under Shariah law. A report by the investment firm of Morgan Stanley in February , 2008 put the outstanding Sukuk (bonds) market worth more than $90 billion dollars, and a projection that by 2010 it will be worth over 200 Billion dollars. While this is good news for the investors, the risk of Shariah law and the changes to the way we live our lives will be changed with this new system of finance.

Well this is of course no surprise. Every single dollar we pay, give or pump in to these countrys just are another step nearer sharia laws, not only in the ME, but also here in the west. I just can't understand that some people do not recognise this obvious fact!

So where did you have it?

This got the whole of Sydney laughing. Read it and you'll see why! Just
imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this. Many
Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney .

The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is
called 'Mate Match'. The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are
married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant
answers 'yes', he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal
questions.

The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner with
(phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same =
three questions correctly, they both win the prize.

The Harbour City dropped to its knees with laughter and is possibly the
funniest thing
you've heard yet.

Anyway, here's how it all went down:

DJ: 'Hey! This is Ed on FOX-FM. Have you ever heard of 'Mate Match'?'

Contestant: (laughing) 'Yes, I have.'

DJ: 'Great! Then you know we're giving away a trip to the Gold Coast if
you win.

What is your name? First only please.'

Contestant: 'Brian.'

DJ: 'Brian, are you married or what?'

Brian: (laughing nervously) 'Yes, I am married.'

DJ: 'Thank you. Now, what is your wife's name? First only please.'

Brian: 'Sara.'

DJ: 'Is Sara at work, Brian?'

Brian: 'She is gonna kill me.'

DJ: 'Stay with me here, Brian! Is she at work?'

Brian: (laughing) 'Yes, she's at work.'

DJ: 'Okay, first question - when was the last time you had sex?'

Brian: 'About 8 o'clock this morning.'

DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.'

Brian: (laughing sheepishly) 'Well...'

DJ: 'Question #2 - How long did it last?'

Brian: 'About 10 minutes.'

DJ: 'Wow! You really want that trip, huh? No one would ever have said
that if a trip wasn't at stake.'

Brian: 'Yeah, that trip sure would be nice.'

DJ: 'Okay. Final question. Where did you have sex at 8 o'clock this =
morning?

Brian: (laughing hard) 'I, ummm, I, well...'

DJ: 'This sounds good, Brian. Where was it at?'

Brian: 'Not that it was all that great, but her mum is staying with us
for couple of weeks...'

DJ: 'Uh huh...'

Brian: '...and the Mother-In-Law was in the shower at the time.'

DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.'

Brian: 'On the kitchen table.'

DJ: 'Not that great?? That is more adventure than the previous hundred
times I've done it.

Okay folks, I will put Brian on hold, get his wife's work number and
call her up.

You listen to this.'
[ 3 minutes of commercials follow. ]

DJ: 'Okay audience; let's call Sarah, shall we?' (Touch
tones.....ringing....)

Clerk: 'Kinkos.'

DJ: 'Hey, is Sarah around there somewhere?'

Clerk: 'This is she.'

DJ: 'Sarah, this is Ed with FOX-FM. We are live on the air right now and
I've been talking with Brian for a couple of hours now.'

Sarah: (laughing) 'A couple of hours?'

DJ: 'Well, a while now. He is on the line with us. Brian knows not to
give any\answers away or you'll lose.
Sooooooo... do you know the rules of 'Mate Match'?'

Sarah: 'No.'

DJ: 'Good!'

Brian: (laughing)

Sarah: (laughing) 'Brian, what the hell are you up to?'

Brian: (laughing) 'Just answer his questions honestly, okay? Be
completely honest.'

DJ: 'Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Now, I will ask you 3 questions, Sarah. If
your answers match Brian's answers, then the both of you will be off to
the Gold Coast for 5 days on us.

Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.'

DJ: 'Alright. When did you last have sex, Sarah?'

Sarah: 'Oh God, Brian....uh, this morning before Brian went to work.'

DJ: 'What time?'

Sarah: 'Around 8 this morning.'

DJ: 'Very good. Next question. How long did it last?'

Sarah: '12, 15 minutes maybe.'

DJ: 'Hmmmm. That's close enough. I am sure she is trying to protect his
manhood. We've got one last question, Sarah. You are one question away
from a trip to the Gold Coast. Are you ready?'

Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.'

DJ: 'Where did you have it?'

Sarah: 'OH MY GOD, BRIAN!! You didn't tell them that did you?'

Brian: 'Just tell him, honey.'

DJ: 'What is bothering you so much, Sarah?'

Sarah: 'Well...'

DJ: Come on Sarah.....where did you have it?

Sarah: 'Up the arse.....'

They had to call an ambulance for the DJ he thought he was going to have
a heart attack , he could not stop laughing.
Apperently there was an unusually high call out of the Sydney Police
just after this conversation , for minor traffic collisions.

Sweden no longer has world’s highest tax burden

Sweden has long had the reputation of having the highest taxes in the world.

But those times have past.

Denmark has now taken over as the country with the highest tax burden, according to website E24 and Danish newspaper Dagbladet Börsen.

Based on figures taken from the tax authorities in both countries, Danes now have a tax burden of 48.4 percent, compared to 47.8 percent for Swedes.

Woohoo!- we only have the second highest taxes in the world... Time to celebrate- Or not!

Now this cartoon are invalid (the text says: Sweden still has the highest taxex in the world. And: "Thanks! This looks good. Have you made it yourself?")

Swedish military

In this country we have about 60 000 men and womans that could be munstered for action if needed. At the same time we have 10 000 comissioned officers (professionals). Most of them are sitting behind desks. Only about 400 of them are out on missions (which is Swedish defence forces n:o 1 task these days).

You all know by now that I'm deeply engaged in the military. We lack material and much of that we do have are outdated. Soldiers have to invest their own money to buy essential gear (like sleeping bags!) and at the same tome we have a couple of hundreds of JAS jet fighters that are not being used.

There are very good and advanced material in storage, we just don't get it out! That's beurocracy for you...

On a side note. The goggles the soldiers in the picture are wearing are marked "Don't use for war games!" (I have a couple of pairs of them myself) HEH!

20080309

Peter Stormare

I don't know what it is about this guy. He almost always plays the cheesy Russian bad guy in movies, but still you can't but help to notice him. He was one of the late Ingmar Bergmans favourite actors and he is a very nice guy in private (met him once).

What I did not know is that he also is a pretty deascent singer/songwriter too. He has his own band called "Blonde from Fargo". He has recently posted a song on you tube which is about a reacent operation he had to do to his nose. It's very humerous and well worth listening to. Go here!

The surgery was done for him otherwise riscing to loose eyesight from a earlier accident during making a movie.

A bit off season, but watch this Christmas music video.

Or this video with The Poodles featuring Peter Stormare

Could it be mormones?

The first has no arms. The second is missing one arm. The third can barely use his hands because of frost bite. Even so, the trio tried to smuggle in explosives and Kalasjnikovs via ferry transfer to Trelleborg (Sweden).

All three men are from Chechnya.

They are now standing trial for weapons smuggeling on a large scale in Malmö municipal court.

WHY WERE THEY DOING IT?

It smells jihad the whole way! Who are these guys and why were they doing it?

But in MSM theese guys at the age of 27, 27 and 29 are described as "youths".

At the grave of my dear sweet mother. Aaaaaarrrrrgh!

In my darkest moments I sometimes believe that we actually deserve it for our ignorance. I mean. Just look at the stat counter from TROP in my sidebar!

Then again. It feels that I am preaching for the allready convinced.

Hate Progress?

"HATE; HATE Reinfeldt he has taken our money!"

That was slogans meeting Swedish PM Fredrik Reinfeldt shouted by about 30 "youths" when he visited a high school in Gothenburg.

The scanding was probably aimed at the fact that the sitting government has lowered taxes for low- and middle income takers (!) and has in a year of ruling created 100 000 new jobs at the expense of slightly higher uneployment insurance costs and lower unemployment yields. And that the rules for getting social security payouts have been straightened out.

SIGH!

CAP again

Michel BarnierMinister of agriculture
Paris has posted a response to the chritics of CAP and their politics visavi the fact that 2% of the workforce in Europe (farmers) are getting 44% in subsides of EU:s total budget. See my earlier post on this here.

I will post his letter to The Economist here (LINK) with added comments in italics.

European farming today

SIR – Charlemagne flayed the “idiocy” of the European Union's common agricultural policy, and attacked France's position in particular (February 16th). To answer his criticisms in general terms, yes, I believe in a CAP that includes a certain territorial balance. Rural areas cover 90% of the EU's territory and are home to around 50% of its population. The future of agricultural policy is not about “assistance”, it is about rendering services to society, be it in terms of food security, the environment or the social development of rural areas. So intensive farming is not the only choice for the future; several agricultural models can coexist. It is viable economics to cater to and invest in high-end products, which are inevitably linked to the diversity of regional identities and produce.

Yes it is true that rural areas cover 90% of EU:s territory and that they hold about 50% of the population. But that's a question of definition. What is a rural area? in most places in central and south Europe you are within commuting distance from a town or a city! We have farming going on in the city I live in. Does that make this city of 140 000 people a "rural area"? But the fact still is that 2% of the workforce in the EU is getting 44% of the subsides- namely the farmers! It is also true that it is important that farmers try to get out high- end products- And if they do- they will sell! Bad products and producers will naturally go off the market- if they do- then they have to seek another profession and a way of living.

As for milk quotas, the big issue is not about getting the 2% increase right. I think we agree that the more important question is how to overhaul the CAP in response to future strategic challenges: growth, rural development, and the dire need to produce more and better food in Europe.

Why do we need to produce more food in Europe? We have no shortage of food, to the extent that we not only export and give away it to several countrys- mainly in the third world- but we also have draconic protective tolls on import of food from the very same places, which has the only result of heightening the poverty in those countrys and at the same time make food here that much more expensive! Politicians take the taxpayers money away and shove it back their throats (minus "administrative" costs of course). It is a pyramide scam of gigantic proportions!

Oil makes for more Dangerous Regimes

There was a time when American Imperialism made for a safer world. In 1970, the morons of Chile elected Salvador Allende President of Chile, the first Marxist to gain power through a democratic process. Those idiots got what they deserved and in short order the economy became devastated after prices were frozen, land was redistributed, industries expropriated and foreign interests nationalized. Fortunately the people of Chile were saved by the interference of our CIA whose actions helped to bring about a coup which overthrew Allende on 11 Sep 1973. In the end we helped install a pro-business military government, led by General Augusto Pinochet. Today, Chile has a vibrant market-oriented economy and its good fortune is directly attributable to the USA butting in their national business. Chile has more bilateral and regional trade agreements than any other country in the world and is a role model for the rest of South America. While South America's GDP per capita is $2,663, Chile's is $14,400 even beating out oil rich Venezuela at $12,800. While Chile's unemployment rate is 7% the rest of South America is on average 50% higher.

Study: 3 in 4 U.S. mosques preach anti-West extremism

An undercover survey of more than 100 mosques and Islamic schools in America has exposed widespread radicalism, including the alarming finding that 3 in 4 Islamic centers are hotbeds of anti-Western extremism, WND has learned.

The Mapping Sharia in America Project, sponsored by the Washington-based Center for Security Policy, has trained former counterintelligence and counterterrorism agents from the FBI, CIA and U.S. military, who are skilled in Arabic and Urdu, to conduct undercover reconnaissance at some 2,300 mosques and Islamic centers and schools across the country.

"So far of 100 mapped, 75 should be on a watchlist," an official familiar with the project said.

Oh you just wait 'till you got 65 million of them in the area (with another 100M or so knocking at the door. Maybe that would be an eye opener for the general public in the USA)...

Suicide Bombers without a choise

[...]

Now there is a new image of mothers urging their children to die, and then celebrating the martyrdom of their suicidal sons and daughters by distributing sweets and singing wedding songs. More and more young women -- some married with infant children -- are strapping bombs to their (sometimes pregnant) bellies, because they have been taught to love death rather than life. Look at what is being preached by some influential Islamic leaders:

"We are going to win, because they love life and we love death," said Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah. He has also said: "[E]ach of us lives his days and nights hoping more than anything to be killed for the sake of Allah." Shortly after 9/11, Osama bin Laden told a reporter: "We love death. The U.S. loves life. That is the big difference between us."

"The Americans love Pepsi-Cola, we love death," explained Afghani al Qaeda operative Maulana Inyadullah. Sheik Feiz Mohammed, leader of the Global Islamic Youth Center in Sydney, Australia, preached: "We want to have children and offer them as soldiers defending Islam. Teach them this: There is nothing more beloved to me than wanting to die as a mujahid." Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said in a speech: "It is the zenith of honor for a man, a young person, boy or girl, to be prepared to sacrifice his life in order to serve the interests of his nation and his religion."

"There will peace when they ["palestinians"] love their children more than they hate ours!"

SMR

SMR is a neo-nazi organisation here in Sweden (SMR Svenska motståndsrörelsen- Swedish movement of resistance).

They are of course all thugs with pea sized brains.

They hate muslims and any other immigrant group. But they really, relly really hate Jews. The only group of people being hated allmost as much are Serbs. That probably is because there is a shortage of Jews in Sweden. And while they on numerous occations has wanted to participate in demonstrations against Israel (arranged by muslims)- they have strangely enough been turned down. Because ideologically they share the same bed...

So what to do if there are no Jews around to bash and you are a moron?

Try to pick a fight with the Serbs of course!

A group of 20 neo-Nazis were detained by police in Stockholm on Saturday. The neo-Nazis were on their way to disrupt a demonstration by 400 Serbs protesting Kosovo's independence.

The neo-Nazis, members of the Swedish Resistance Movement (SMR), were stopped by police on their way to Myntorget in the Gamla Stan area of Stockholm on Saturday afternoon.

"They were stopped near Riksbron. They were behaving badly and were armed with golf-clubs and stones," said police spokesperson Ann-Charlotte Wejnäs to TT.

A demonstration arranged by the Serbian youth organization in Sweden was being held at the time on the nearby square. 400 Serbs had gathered to demonstrate against Kosovo's declaration of independence.

Police arrested two of the neo-Nazis, one for violent resistance and the other for intent to commit assault. The remainder were dispersed.

A further group of 20 people was broken up by police in the city centre after having having thrown Bengal flame fireworks at cars on Kunsgsgatan.

"They were driven to various locations on the outskirts of the city," said Wejnäs.

Demonstrations protesting the declaration of independence in Kosovo were held in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö on Saturday. Nato and the USA were the target of much of the anger expressed by the Serb demonstrators and speakers.

Demonstrators signed petitions challenging the the Swedish government to refrain from recognizing Kosovo's independence. The petitions will be sent to the foreign minister, Carl Bildt.

In Spain 70% of the inmates in prisons are muslims

I saw a number mentioned in one newspaper article, and so went looking for more. I will add to this article as I discover more data.

Estimating the percentages of Muslims in prisons across Europe is not simple.

In some cases, such as Sweden, collecting such data is illegal. In many cases, the numbers are only estimates.

I linked to my sources, but note that not all sources have the same reliability level.

EUMAP - EU Research program, NEWS - mentioned in the news.

Belgium - 16% (12.8% Moroccans, 3.1% Turks) (EUMAP)

Denmark - 20% (NEWS)

England+Wales - 8% (NEWS)

France - 50%-60% (NEWS, NEWS)

Germany - 18% foreigners, lowest estimate for Muslims - 5% (EUMAP)

The Netherlands: 20%, youth prisons - 26% (EUMAP)

Spain - 70% (NEWS)"

Petrol prices

The green (fundametalists) want to put another 70 öre per liter on the price of petrol. That would mean that the price would land on over 13 Kr/ liter ($2.30 a liter about $10.30 a gallon).

In the name of invironmentalism!`

It's funny that one of the lobbyist for this is my old high school teatcher Peter Eriksson (The talking head/party leader for the greens) while he him self drives around in a big SUV. It is easy to talk the talk when you cash in about $16 000 a month of the taxpayers money, innit?

But Peter! Can you walk the walk?

Shoeless immigrants and passports

If I would travel to the USA- which I would very much like- I would have to take off my shoes for inspection. I could not take with me any liquids as shampoo or even medicines without a special grant/note. But every day more than 4000 people crosses the south border, no one knows what they bring in. A lot of jihadists have gone in to the USA during the last couple of years crossing the Mexican border. It seems that it would be easier for me to get in to the country via Mexico, bare footed.- No questions asked...

Who Left the Door Open?

I'm going to Teneriff in about a month's time. My passport is about to expire in October. What's the point of having an expiering time when it's close to useless if it's not valid when you have six months to go on it? So I have to go and fix passports for me aswell as for my son. The cost is not that great (800 Kr- about $125), but the trouble of me having to take a day off (because the passport service at the police station is only open on Tuesdays and Fridays)- and the trouble of actually going there- no commuting!- Is annoying as hell! And then there is the kicker that Sweden aswell as Spain are both in the Schengen area, which means that you should not need a passport at all (that was the whole idea), but because the nationality on drivers licenses or ID cards are not actually spelled out, you still need one... Aaargh!

Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I just would throw my passport away and seek asylum in Africa. I mean, if it works the other way around, then...?
