EU- the new USSR
EU has legislated that preschool kids in childcare no more are allowed to make their own sandwiches.
What more is, is that if the butter, cheeze and other stuff has been standing on the table over a snack session- they have to be thrown away afterwards!
This is all of "hygienic reasons", so the kids wont get infections from each others.
BUT, the kids are allowed to sneese at each others freely, and they lick at the same toys!
Ah, it feels good to see your taxmoney in action does it not?

Brilliant! Maybe every last one of them should be kept in an isolation chamber strapped to a slab deep under the city, fed through a tube, and never allowed to set foot above ground, for fear they might be exposed to something.
They won't be allowed to think for themselves, or do their own homework, or even have homes, for fear their homes might expose them to something incorrect. In fact, "learning" is bad because it means their innocense is unjustly being stripped away and it creates an unbalance if someone "learns" more than someone else. Instead they should be indoctrinated about feelings, and things more important to the well-being of the state, leaving the "learning" to their masters... ahem, leaders, who suffer the burdens of running the world for their benefit.

There's a wonderful blogsite called "Nanny Knows Best", written by a brilliant guy called Ken Frost, who posts almost daily ludicrous examples of the idiocies perpetrated by the control freaks who currently have far too much power in Britain.
Link to it via Anticant's Arena.

Actually, they're making the world into a prison, and they are going to put us all in protective custody.
Al Qaeda members are already interviewing to be the prison staff.
