Sweden pledges $209m to Palestinians
Sweden will increase its aid to the Palestinians this year and in 2008 to more than $200 million dollars, the government said on Monday as a large donors' conference opened in Paris.
Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt said the Scandinavian country would increase its planned aid to the Palestinian people over the next two years by 90 million kronor ($13.7 million) to 1.37 billion ($209 million).

Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas at the conference urged the international community to step up support to the Palestinians or risk a "catastrophe", as he appealed for $5.6 billion in aid.

OMG! We are activelly supporting a murderous fanatical regime and we plan to extend the "aid" to them! I... I... I... i'm out of loss of words!
How the friggin' frugg (that's a FUCK for you sensitives) are the palis going to support theselves? When the Israelians had control over the areas they could support themselves by constructing- amongst others- large computer controlled greenhouses. Constructions that in a matter of days after the palis got controll of them was plundered, ruined and later used as fronts for building weapons smuggeling tunnels in to Israelian soil.
How stupid are we? The palis in the Gaza strip could right now be setting up a midterrenian paradise beach resort and just gobble in the tourist money. But noooo. Why should they do that when all they have to do is fire off some more quassam rockets in to Israel, aimed exlusively for civilian residences (because they can't even get that right!)- and by doing so get rewarded with even more "aid" from Europeian countrys.
Well I'm all for it- in a way. Let's "send" them a couple of hundred Excaliburs flying in instead. Thats the kind of "aid" I want to see being given away. 166000 dollars worth of it every time!

The palis did not get 5,6 billion- they got 7,4 billions instead. HO HO HO!

Hugs...
The really troubeling thing is that we here in Sweden cant support ourselves. The sitting government wants to cut the budget for our defence forces by 5 bilion. Schools are getting run down and the roads (the whole infra structure) is going down the drain.
At the same time we are by far the largest recipient of asylum seekers in Europe- This in a country that only have 9 milion people.
We are also the number one payer (by capita) of EU rewenues- and one of the countrys in the EU that gets the least paybacks.
30 years ago we could munster between 0,5 and 1 miljon people in our defence forces. Now we have 50 000.
We have the highest taxes in the world (effectively 56%), but we have NOT got the best edjucation system, the best healthcare or the best defensive forces- all the while when Russia is starting to rattle their weapons again.
We have amongst the highest prices on "kapitalvaror" (that would be like cars, TV- sets, dish washing machines, computers and such) in the EU- No sorry- In the world! I mean, a frikking pair of LEVI's costs 50% less in NY than it does here!
And then we go for it and give out MORE money in "aid" than ever...
Sweet Angel. Will you marry me so I can get out of this dump?
