Never trust statistics?

As a part- time statistical analyst, I have learned to close in and believe in statistics with care. However there are some questions in surveys that hardly can be missunderstood. In bangladesh for example with a pop of only 34 out of a population of 147 million (23%) of its inhabitants thought that it was never justified to use violence in order to defend islam.
