Global Food Crisis

Besides the fact that vast areas of rainforest is being chopped down to make place for sugar cane and palm [oil] plantages in South America and Borneo (where my beloved relatives, the Orangutans are fast going on the road to extintion), all in the name of Bio- Fuel. The cultivation of corn, palm- oil and sugar canes for bio fuel means that we now have a global food crisis. Food prices has sky rocketed during the past few years. They are predicting a 30% increse in food prises in the EU. Another thing is that all the energy that is needed for the chopping down of rainforests, cultivation, refining, transportation etc defenetily are not taken from bio fuel!

At the same time we are sending money, a heck of a lot of money and food as "aid" to other countrys, something which has the result that local farmers has no chance to stay in buissness, which in turn means that famine grows at for example the African continent- not to mention the corruption in governments that it infallable brings!

Thank you very f.....g much gore and the other clowns with bleeding hearts that has an unproportinal power to steer the powers that be...

Link

This does not mean that we should not seek for alternative energy resources. It just mean that our politicians have to pull their heads out of their asses and start listen to scientists with no political or financial agenda! The sad part is that much of the science being done to day is state financed- which in turn mean that it's steered as the scientists grants depends on the outcome of their resarch. And further more; the greens has done absolutely everything wrong for the better part of the past 100 years! Why do we (our politicians) still listen to them?

How can we lessen our inpact on the invironment? That's an easy one. We have to become fever individs on the earth! It's the only way! But you never hear a bleeding heart call for birth controll in Africa, India or other places, or atleast giving people edjucation about bodily functions. And it really, really does not help that people in the "umma" have ten, twenty, thirty or even fifty children. (Usama is one of 45 siblings I believe).

Arrrr- I'm feeling grumpy today...

It makes sense that with ever-increasing human populations, unchecked within third and fourth world cesspools, shortages will exist when demand outpaces food production. In my mind, the willingness of civilized nations to give, either in the form of monetary aid or free food, without a corresponding motivation for countries like India to reduce human reproduction creates an unjustified “entitlement” mentality in the third and fourth world. I would think that the leaders of such nations, if for no other reason than compassion for starving children, would begin to look at ways to reduce their populations.

As for the political leadership of “civilized” nations, I’ve given up on those idiots. And it could be that the advent of a 2-million foot tall tidal wave (as predicted weekly on the History Channel) might be exactly what all of us desperately need, if not to reduce human populations, then to decrease the number of politicians.

I’m sure Mr. Gore will disagree; he’s probably coming over to my house right now in his gas-guzzling SUV to punch me in the nose.

BTW, what is your take on Turkey as a member of the EU (my recent post on Turkishness).

My take on Turkey?

Well, as I have written before, a state that is balancing on the one hand on being a fascistic military state- and on the other hand on being a fascistic muslim theocrasy, does not really belong in ANY western civilaziation.

But Turkey is not the imideate problem in Europe right now. It's the 20 miljon muslims that we allredy got here! Now- I have nothing against muslim individuals. On the contrary, I have many fine muslim friends.
BUT! as I have also stated countless times before; when muslims contents a greater (a critical mass) fraction of the population- radicalisation and violence WILL follow. History should have taught us this. But many of our politicians are idiots, with no knowledge of either the islamic ideology or historical events. Just look at what happened in Libanon!

Turkey is a very nice country with very nice people in it. It's just their ideology that fouls the water. Not even mentioning that Turkey proper is a country once invaded by muslims, a country that was mainly christian before!

And that is what happens when you let in to many muslims in to our countrys. Infallable, they will radicalize and turn in to a suprematistic ideology- sooner or later! It's not the muslims fault. It's their totalitarian, supremacistic and universal ideology! But we historically have seen it happen time after time, and still... we just look at it happen!

So letting in Turkey in the EU is by my take- the biggest misstake we could do (since I actually woted for Sweden becoming a part of EU!)We just don't really need another 45 miljon muslims! Yes- have trade contracts- but no more muslims included inside the Schengen!

Originally in the US, it was the Republican Party that was the environmentalists. The Republican Party also consistently lead in the field of eliminating racism.

The Democrats hijacked those two issues, and now use them shamelessly for their own political and financial benefit, in much the same way as the Bush-43 crowd uses national security to cover up criminal activity.
