Relativistic News

Swedens largest evening newspaper-Aftonbladet- a far leftist tabloid; reports that Swedish troops in Afghanistan "executed" an insurgent leader.

"Swedish troops executed islamist!"

"Under a Swedish action in Afghanistan a leader of a " local criminal network" were killed.

The Swedish television show "Kalla Fakta" states that the action were an offensive attack, where the leader were executed.

The main goal with the action, lead by the Swedish ISAF- force was to arrest the leader of an islamistic group.
When the force arriwed to the village of Boka in September last year; they were being shot at. The fight ended two hours later, and the "leader" were found dead.

Colonel Bengt Sandstrom, at the time in charge for the force, reported "Main target down" to Stockholm.

19 were honored with a commendation

- We did not intend to go in and execute anybody, says Bengt Sandstrom to Kalla Fakta- a show on TV 4.
19 soldiers got a commendation for their part in the action. It was motivated with the excellent service the soldiers had done during the incident, where the main target was elliminated.

That the action was an offecive attack are wholly denied by the Swedish army.
- Our task is to secure the area designated to us. It gives us the mandate to open fire at anyone attacking our forces, says generalmajor Anders Lindström."

Execution? Execution?? The angeling of the newsmedia here in Sweden is plain HORRIBLE!

When the jihadis bomb a pizza place, it's "lawful warfare". When Swedish military personnel try to arrest a terrorist, it's an "atrocity".
