Tom Cruise a persona non grata in Germany?

A while ago Germany legislated a law forbidding the scientology "church" inside it's borders.

"Scientology works from the base of massive opression, very much like a totalitarian organisation that want's to break the peoples willpower and that's why we have to fight them" (this is a third party translation so it might not be 100% accurate, but the essence of the message is still there I belive)- Ralf Stegner, minister of interior affairs in Shleswig-Holstein.

Recognise something familliar with this definition?

Islam could also be seen as a totalitarian organisation who breaks peoples willpower (individuality)!

But they will not be forbidden- no way no never...

Even though I think of scientology as as much humbug as islam, I find it hard to belive we will ever see Tom Cruise run in to a Starbucks with a bomb belt strapped on him shouting "Hubbard is great!" before blowing himself up.

But in some small screwed up way it would be fun as hell!

Yes the scientologists are brainwashed.
But so are the followers of muhammed!

Yes the scientologists scam a lot of money from the devotees.
But that also goes for islam!

Yes scientologists are authoritorian and totalitarian.
But islam is also that!

Yes scientology is based on the feverish insane rambelings of one sole man.
And that could also be said about islam!

Yes scientologists commits suicide bombings and are rutheless terrorist scumbags- Oh! No they are not...
But islamists are!

Scientology should indeed be banned- but that goes for islam to!
