This is how it looked in infamous Rosengård, Malmö during Thursday night.

Rocks were thrown, arsons, rockets were fired at firefighters and the police, barricades were put up and set on fire.

One resident of Rosengård told the newspaper Expressen:

"It's chaos. It's worse than Beirut which I left 30 years ago!"

The other day I picked up my son at preeschool. It's just a five hundred meters away from my flat so I took the bicykle. My son had got a new bike just a couple of weeks ago.

On the way home he managed to take a wrong turn twice and finally cykled out in front of an oncoming car in a crossection despite me yelling at him "Brake, BRAKE!".

That was it, I took him by the sleve of his jacket and said to him that"You have to listen to what I tell you!", he got scared (not anyway near as scared as I had been) and started sniffling. I thought that was enough, and we continued on.

When we came home he was allright and I thought we would have a little chat about what happened.

I asked him: "Why did you take the wrong turns? Don't you know where we live?"
He said: "Yes dad I know the way."
"Well then, why did you make them and why did you go in to the crossection even though I yelled at you to stop?"
"But dad. It's not so easy when you're brain does not do what you tell it to do!"

Ahh. He got an icecream.

A couple of days ago, when I was reading in bed, my son came in and started a wrestling match in the bed. It was all fun and game until he descided to give me a drop knee in the ribcage.

It sounded "SNAP" and the old man was ten and out! It did'nt hurt as much to begin with, but I have broken more ribs in my days than I care to count, so I knew what was to expect. Other times you get this dull pain from the callus being formed- but this time- OwOwOw! I believe he puctured my liver.

So I'll try to take up the posting in a few days.

My blog updates are a little bit far and between right now. In between hospital visits I mainly writes and debates in Swedish for now. But you be sure, that if something comes up, that no one else allready has covered (Robert Spencer! Don't you ever sleep? I mean, let some of us others have a little fun!)- I will be on it.

The latest debate I've been involved in; is against a guy that "with ceartainty" believes that a wind turbine park projected in Norrland would yield twice as much electricity as the nuclear power station Ringhals.
I thouroghly explained that it would be an impossibility, as that would mean that atleast 2/3:s of the Swedish land area would be covered with turbines.

I put up the numbers, did some calculating, presented it for him...

...And he still did'nt get it!

He called me a troll.

I have been called many things in my days, but as of right now I'm thin as a stick and lack ceartain other trollish features (rocky skin, diamonds for teeths, a club in my hand and being generally in a bad mood, all the time); I just don't know what he's talking about.
He, on the other hand, has not refuted or disproved any thing I have written.

I is about immigration and the gallopping crime wawe that comes with it. He think he is morally superior in this matter because his mother is Finnish!

Reacently a man from Egypt that has permanent recidency in Sweden was discovered not being in Sweden at all. Apparently he is "somewhere" in Cairo city.

I have no idea what the original grounds was for him to get PR. He eledgibly was 100% handicapped, forced to a life in a wheelchair and supposidely had 4-5 assistance workers to aid him in his daily life- poor man. On what possible grounds was this man let in to the country in the first place?

Over the past three past years the man has been admitted $ 1.25 miljon for assitance (which on the payroll sheets only was listed as names and date of births).

A check out by the social security service discovered an empty apartement seemingly non vacated with the wheelchair left behind. Now Cairo is not exactly handicapped friendly is it? The water locks was empty and very little electricity had been used for over a year. (It is very possible that someone or several other people had been living there over time earlier.)

Talk about happily dancing all the way to the bankoffice!

As the mean income for an Egyptian is $4500 annually, this guy has made it BIG TIME, all on the Swedish taxpayers expence.
The social service only audit every three years and it would not have been entirely impossible that they would have missed out of this one (as they have a record for) and that would have ment another + $ 1.25 miljon down the drain over the coming three years...

This is not the only case! There are many, many others. People that have never or hardly ever paid any taxes in Sweden that gets social security from the Swedish state, now living in their original countries. They even brag about it on different internet forums.

Meanwhile, pensioneres in elderly homes have their food rationed.

I had an accident a while ago. After 7 months I still have not got any treatment AT ALL despite having nerve damages to my spine, which has left me with a paralyzed shoulder and "funny legs". In the mean time my monthly income from the social security service has been $495. I kid you not!

So, dear Americans; that is what you can look forward to with Obamacare...

Ryanair (Irish Budget Airline) Passenger Eats Winning Scratch Card!

An airline passenger ate his €10,000 winning scratch card after he was told he could not claim the money immediately, it emerged today.

The unnamed man was flying with Ryanair from Krakow in Poland to East Midlands Airport in Britain when he won €10,000 ($14,000) with the scratch card.

Crew on board the flight confirmed he had won the prize but told the passenger he would have to collect the jackpot directly from the company that runs the competition as it was such a large sum.

Ryanair said the man then became frustrated and started to eat his winning ticket, ruling out any chance he had of claiming the prize money which will now be donated to charity.

Rationing has been introduced at retirement homes in the municipality of Timrå. The elderly are now only allowed two cups of coffe and a maximum of three deciliters of milk per day.

The personel have critisized the descision and say that they are ashamed when denying the elderly a fillup.

So THIS is how we are going to finance the immigration policies! It is much needed as every one of the - for instance- so called anchor babies costs 680 000 SEK per year ($ 97150), and we get 60 more of these bearded "children" here (in Sweden) every week, all year around! Well, after a lenghty period of abscence, I'm finally back. I have finally got a diagnosis and I will try to post more often again.

It turned out that I have torned some motor nerves in my back wich has left me with a paralyzed shoulder, a bunch of useless muscles in my back and ever diminishing ability to the use of my left arm. This is what you have to look forward to in USA if Obama ever gets the health care bill through. It's easier and faster to get a Doctor appointment in Albania than it is here in Sweden. They are talking of a muscle transplant as an erzats Rhomboideus muscle but first I'm scedueled for a MRI and a neuro [something, something] that I "most likely" will get inside of three months...

However- while I have been writing a lot in Swedish in the mean time, I have come to some solutions to my problem. I just need an arm chair, but it is tiresome and painful so we will se how much I will able to get on print.

Now I have a LOT of reading up to do. The past few months there has been mostly brick thick novellas in the bed and watching mindnumbing TV- shows laying on the couch.

OK, I was at the orthoaepedics yesterday. For once- I did not have to stay in the waiting room for hours, just a quick three minutes.

The doc said- and I quote- "I have never seen a mess like this!"

I said- "No shit!".

So now they are going to send me for an utrasound examination. But I don't know when. And the insurance company are giving me trouble. And then after that, there will be surgery.

I have been fighting the Swedish socialised health care system for several months now. It's a nightmare. I don't get proper care and the insurance company (state owned of course) are giving me trouble.

At least I have an apointment at the orthoapedics next Tuesday. But I'm not holding my breath. I have had 4 appointments cancelled during the past four weeks.
They just send you around and around in the system, no one want's to actually give you the health care that you need, they just bill the taxpayers for me sitting in a waiting room for hours. All the while me being non productive!

I'm writing this with ONE working arm.

Well, atleast- I'm looking forwad to the coming weekend. My kid sister are getting married, and it will be a nice get to gether with many of my family members in Stockholm. I just wish that - as the doc so nicely put it- that I was not "disformed". HEH! It sounds like I'm some sort of a mutant...

Apparently, we Swedes are giving away SEK 92 million every day in aid to foreign countries. (That's about $ 14 million). Most of what is aired here are produced in the USA, and that's the way the people here like it!

I, myself hardly never watch any TV- series produced inside of EU, but for sport events. It's all American otherwise, well save for Discovery channel (which is half and half).

Sea fishing

I like fishing. Generally it's about stream or wite water fishing. Sorry to say but where I live now, there are not any suitable streams to go fishing in.

I came home last night after a weekend at the west coast. We were a party of ten who had rented a fishing boat to go out to open sea, a type of fishing that I never had done before. Among them was my brother in law and a bunch of gyus from SAAB where he works.

Temperatures were quite high, the sun was shining but we had northly winds and as the currents goes in east westly direction there was quite high seas.

The night before my brother in law pulled out som pills because he had been sea sick at one time and was afraid that he was going to be it again. He offered me one but I kindly turned him down because I have never been seasick before, and I have ridden some pretty rough waters.

On the morning of departure, we of course forgot to take the frigging pills with us!

We went out pretty far. The boat bumped over the waves but we all felt ok and was looking forward to catch loads of Mackerel. After quite a while the boat stopped and we started to get the hooks wet. As soon as the boat stopped it started to roll, inconvinient but handeble. At first we did'nt get anything but some small Pollocks with just enough meat on themm to actually take home.

So we went to another place and so on and finally came to a spot where an old wreck was. My BIL was still feeling ok thankfully but instead I began to feel a bit queezy. Nothing to worry about I thought, I probably just need to rehydrate so I drank a bottle of water and felt a little bit better. I went on fishing. But then!

Out of a clear blue sky- I started vomiting over the railing. Might I say that the lunch I had eaten before tasted a lot better at the way down than the opposite... And that was that, only four hours after going out and with four more to go.

My lord! I have never ever been so miserable in my life. The whole world was spinning. I looked like Linda Blair in the Exorcist- head spinning and fountain vomiting- tears running down my cheeks. When we came back to the docks they had to lead me back to the car because it felt like the ground was rocking.

Well, I can try that again but the next time I will absolutely not forget the seasick pills. I will duct tape them to my forehead the night before...

It's the first of September. This morning I got a letter from the orthoapedic clinic at the university hospital. It said that I would be called in in a matter of three months - maybe! If the waiting goes over three months I will then be sent to some clinic otherwere (fairs and hotel room paid for by the taxpayers). So now I sit here -in limbo- with a shattered scapula and a broken collar bone with little or no use of my left arm. SIGH!

An alternative is to go abroad, to Germany or the Baltic states. There there are private clinics who can treat you emidiatley all paid for by the Swedish taxpayers!

That's socialised medicare for you!

At this day the old lightbulb is forbidden. the funny (not really) thing is that EU has imposed high import taxes of low- energy lamps to protect the domestic makers like Osram. So the low- energy lamps have been to expensive to buy and people have chosen the warm glare of the old lightbulbs instead.

"But they are not energy effective"- says the defenders of the "flickers". Well that depends on how you look at it really. Shure, only 30% of the energy emitts light. But you have to ask yourself, "Where does the other 70% go?"

The answer is simple- HEAT! So when you use the old lightbulbs you don't need to heat up your house by the same amount of energy! There you go...

An other funny thing is that the protection tax laws for companies like Osram and Philips actually does not protect these companies at all. Because all their manufacturing are made in China... All it means is that is going to be much more expensive for the consumer

And then there is the problem with the mercury. You are not allowed to toss worn out low energy lamps with the household trash. You have to go to a special waist station. The nerest one I got here is 7 Km away. And I don't own a car. Because echonomlicly it would be idioticy where I live right now, and remember- energy=money and money/energy= pollution.

The building company Wäst-Bygg In Borås (SWE) wanted to give their builders a monthly salary of around 29 000 SEK (aprox $4007). But the union said no. They insisted on the workers having the union agrement salary of $ 3077. Wäst-Bygg thought that that was unfair and paid their workers $ 3967. But now the union has sued the company for $ 55 300 and they are forced to go for the union agreed salaries.

First, let me say that I've moved three presidents up to now and I've seenincredible waste. But, the "new" guy really takes the cake. I don't havean issue with the President promising his wife dinner and a show or that heeven takes his wife out.

But, when I saw the news say that the date cost $24,000, here's what youDON'T know.

Three days before "dinner" a C-17 flew Marines and the helicoptermaintenance equipment to JFK Airport .

The day before "dinner" I flew the US Secret Service (USSS) and themotorcade to JFK Airport .

Our crew of 5 spent two days and nights at the Hilton in Times Square . Myhotel bill: $621.66 plus $64 a day in per diem. The USSS guys were at adifferent Hilton in NYC, so figure that cost another $14,000 (or so) plusper diem. The Marines had to have cost as much and were there four days, sofigure another $55,000 plus per diem (for 44 Marines).

We were supposed to fly the motorcade back and go home, but the Air Forcewas so short C-17's that we were re-tasked to take the motorcade back,return to JFK and take the helicopter back to Quantico.

When we got back to JFK, while the pilot was turning the plane around topark, he noticed a rotor blade sticking out of the hangar where thehelicopter was parked and informed me that either it wasn't ready to transport or it was flying home. After shutting down I walked over to thehangar and to my surprise I find FIVE helicopters, not ONE.

We're obviously not transporting five big helicopters. I went and talked tothe Marines guarding the "fleet" and found that they were flying all fivehelicopters home and we were only transporting the Marines and themaintenance equipment. After talking to the Marine(s) in charge, I was toldthat the White House requested FIVE helicopters. The Marines told me thatthey spent all morning trying to figure out how much it cost them to comeand said they figured it cost them $140,000 to stay there (I don't knowwhere they came up with that)and the trip's total had to be about $1,000,000.

We heard that the President didn't use Air Force One (the 747) so I asked if he came in on one of the 757's. I was told that he came in on THREE AirForce Lear jets.

So, date night consisted of:

2 C-17's flying three missions,

3 Lear jets,

5 Helicopters,

1 Presidential Motorcade,

44 US Marines, more than 20 USSS personnel on just our plane.

Who knows what it cost the NYPD and NY Port Authority (at the airport) in overtime.

These are the same people that chastised the automobile CEO's for using their aircraft. It further proves that the media only use the facts thatmake the President look good and hide any facts that will detract from his persona.

Is this the 'change' we expected?

Talk with friends and those who are not blinded by charisma. Many folks I know who voted for Obama are very disappointed and sorry they did so.

Iranians barred from Swedish universities

Iranian nationals have been banned from Swedish university programmes with ties to nuclear and missile technologies following a warning from the country’s Säpo security service.

So far two Swedish institutions – The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg – have decided to turn away applicants from Iran.

“For us it means that we don’t accept Iranian citizens to our masters programme in nuclear technology,” said Chalmers spokesperson Magnus Myrén to the TT news agency.

The restrictions also affect students from North Korea, but according to Säpo there are only a handful of North Koreans studying in Sweden.

The measure comes as part of a 2007 European Union regulation connected to a 2006 United Nations resolution authorizing sanctions on Iran.

“It concerns not only that which is directly affected by nuclear weapons, but also aerospace technology,” Säpo spokesperson Patrik Peter told TT.

Isn't it remarkable that global warmers like the Gore (pun intended) insists on that it is CO2 that is behind climate shifts? When every reasonable explenation is that it is the level of sun radiation influx that's the answer! So what has happened meanwhile?
Well Wacko Jacko has kicked the bucket and while I never have been a big fan of him, it's still sad in some way. He was only 50 after all.

The summer has finally hit us here. Tomorrow they have promised temperatures around 30 C so I will take my son out for a swim, expose my chalk white body to some rays other than that from a computer screen and later on roast som parts of a pig on the balcony.

What about Iran? It's like- Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I mean, the guy who lost (the obviously rigged election) is no better than allaballahsvineoijihad- at all!

My plants on the balcony has got Aphids. Anybody know what to do with them other than with poison?

My father gave me a rare call yesterday, congratulating my son on his birthday (which was 04/2) and no, he is not senile, just ignorant. When I met him last- he lives in another country- he actually thought that my birthday was 04/02... Just a month off the spot! HEH!

Some reflections

I'm in no way posing myself as an expert on national echonomy. I might be utterly wrong on the following thoughts, but I think they make sense.

A blogger- HAX- ( and others) has made a point out of the pro's of having a floating currency (like our SEK). They mean that a floating currency is just what it takes to fight the ongoing echonomical rescession. They mean that the low value of the SEK is good for the export industry. Sweden is an exporting country so that would make sense don't you think?

BUT!

I can't think of a single thing Sweden exports that has not parts in it or are wholy made from imported parts.

The few natural resources we have like iron, gold and energy are all traded on international spotmarkets either in USD or EURO!

Presto! That means that everything we produce will be more expensive to produce because of the low value of the SEK.

Then again, while we are an exporting country, we are an importing people. I can't find a single thing in my apartement that is not imported in one way or another. Not even the frigging tomatoe plants I have are domestic. And then there is the fertilizer that has phosphor and other stuff in it that must be imported. ALL the food I eat are either imported or made by imported ingredinses, or driven up or cultivated with the help from imported goods.

So a weak currency can only be good for the export market as long as you can sell stuff that has been produced when the currency was strong. Am I wrong?
5-6 years ago the € was 6 SEK to 1, now it is 12 to one. I have gotten 50% poorer over the past 5-6 years compared to an EURO country.

I just can't bend my brain around this!
Especially when we allready are in the EMU, for everything but the common currency.

Why do girls/women walk like they are cross country skiing?
I'm sitting working and looks out the window and see womans walking by, and they are all swinging their arms up to chest height, looking like they are walking with staffs.

Uh!

On a side note. I have just got a digital box (Motorola VIP1920C) and I just can't make it work.
I have a signal through the HDMI socket but all I get is a black screen (all the stations are there). Anybody have an idea?

It makes me crazy!

Off the road

Been on the road for a while. Came home yesterday evening.

So today is the big election day. I have had my doubts, but it looks like it will be the Pirate Party after all. I might regret it in hindsight, but the other alternatives are just not on the map for me.

Why can't there be one political party out there that is true libertarians/conservatives?

I'm pro choise (within reasonable limits).
I'm pro free movement of capital.
I'm pro individual freedom of speach and all other individual freedoms we enjoy today.
I'm pro free movement of individuals (as long as they can provide for themselves).

But I'm against importing people without edjucation who in most cases also are analphabets.
I'm against protectionism.
I'm against the EU as it is today with all it's corruption.
I'm against all the facsist groups that ironically calls theselves "anti-fascist".

And there is not one single party out there today that meets my demands!

I think I'm going to have nightmares over this in the future, but it still will be PP in the end.

The Pirate Party- again

I have had serious considerations of voting for the PP in the upcoming elections for the EU parliment.

They are strong advocates for individual freedom, mainly when it comes to questions of the internet and other means of communication. They are against governmental surveilance and tapping of information of individuals may it be ACTA, FRA, IPRED and the TELECOM legislation, legislations that would mean that every form of electronic communication would be survieled and saved, might that be your internet communication (of every imaginable sort) or your telephone traffic (they will even track your where abouts when making a cell phone call- every time- even without suspicion of crime). Then we of course have the HADOPI legislation (French idea-DUH!), which could get you banned from the internet for three strikes of downloading copyrighted material (goodbye Youtube, Google, Yahoo e t c).

BUT!

Their top names are nothing like the ones that I would like to represent me in the parliment. As I have written before:

One of them want's unlimited immigration and the Swedish taxpayers are supposed to pay for the immigrants coming here.

Another one thinks that there should be an unlimited abortion law (wonder if that means that you can have post birth abortions?)

A third has close connections to AFA (ANTIFA) and has woved to donate her parlimentary salary to ATTAC. (For those of you not being Europeians, these are all anti democratic, fascist organisations who strangely enough calls themselves anti fascist!)

And there is more. Lots more!

By god. Is it not one single party out there that has all the bricks together?

For the first time in my life I have become a member in a political party- namely the Pirate Party. They are fighting hard for individual freedom and fighting against legislations as FRA, ACTA, Hadopi, the Telecom legislation and other legislations that infringes on individual freedoms.

I think I'm still going to vote for them in the upcoming EU parlamentary election, but it is a close call after what I read recently.

The PP:s leader has said, and I quote:
That anyone should get free entrance to Sweden and their fair should be paid by the Swedish taxpayers.

They are also in favour for a six hour work day.

These are classic socialistic demands!

I have nothing against people coming here. The more the merrier. As long as they can provide for themselves! Which 97% of the immigrants can't do!

Six hour work day? I'm fine with that, as long as I don't have to pay you that extra two hours wage... If you don't want to work- then I take in some one else- and THEY get your salary!

I hate socialism, but sadly- the PP is the only remotely deascent party out there right now. The right thing to do would be to NOT vote at all. But thinking of the choises... Hmmm. Damned if you do, damned if you don't...

In relation to sources, this legislation may be a violation of the Swedish Constitution's Freedom of the Press Act (Tryckfrihetsförordningen), which gives a right to source anonymity.

97%! of the asulym seekers does not have any papers of origin (passports or ID:s). At the same time there are some (projected) 250 000 false/fake passports or holders of Swedish passports here.

I believe that people should get shelter here in Sweden when needed. I'm also all for unrestricted immigration- as long as the immigrants can provide for themselves!

What I do not agree to is unlimited import of people, especially not from other cultures that does not comply with western values and basic human rights- I.E - Islamists, or to be harsh- muslims.

Muslims are very welcome- if they can provide for themselves- and IF they can assimilate. Sadly, too few of them do or can or want to.

I would not want an American or an Israelian or an central Europeian here if they don't assimilate. This is SWEDEN! Take it or leave it. With all the fermented herrings, our pagan traditions and a well placed boot up your arse, if you don't like it.

Super glue as torture

According to the Swedish magazine QX and the Human Rights Watch, homosexuals in Iraq are tortured to their death by means of having their anuses glued to gether with super glue called "American Gum" and then being forced to swallow laxatives.

Apparently this glue have to be removed by surgery and the torture is very painful and leads to a slow death.

Buying a house

I have placed a bid for a house. It's a nice 1920:th house, quite small but ample for my needs. It also have a quite large "side building" and some 1000 sqare meters of real property. They want 850 K:s for it but I bid for 650 and I think I have a good chance to get it.

On the down side is thtat it has direct electrical heating (BRRR!) and that the yard is a slope.
On the up side is that it is relatively cheap and only 20 minutes of commuting away from the city.

(850 K:s = $ 106 000)

Hmm, could be something. What do you think?

The area is also very child friendly with some former NHL stars living in it. Only if I get it I really have to get me a car- bummer!

Also, there are a lot to work on- even if it is quite habitable as it is. I'm no Bill Gates even though I have some money stucked away. -And I hate the whole "car thingy".

And moreover you can't get more than 0.25 MB internet there as it is right now (oh, the horror!) and you need a satellite dish to get more than three TV channels (not really- you can get a digital box- but then you have to pay extra for everything).

And it has not got a cellar! But it has got a second floor with a wooden heated stove. And an earth cellar.

The Gore

The newspapers here reports that we have had the "warmest April" -like for ever! Maybe the Gore is on to something?

Well it turns out that we have had a very warm April month. It turns out to be the four last days of the month that upped the average temperature to 0.3c more than the last "record" in 2001! Which in turn was 0.6c lower than the temperature of april in 1956.

My ancestors- the Vikings (I like to think of them as my ancestors even though I'm not completly sure about my heritage), cultivated wine yards in Sweden 1500 years ago with the help of a whopping 3c over the top average temperature of today! And that was with no CO2 emitting industry what so ever!

What was their secret?

As it turns out the month of April was not the warmest April- not by far. But it was the driest April in west and east Gothia since they started measuring. But that's a whole another thing.

Every fifth year or so, winds bl0ws mainly from the east, which means that we get dry and later in the summer, also warm weather. No one knows if it's the case here. Weather can be pretty unpredictible.

When winds comes in from the Atlantic ocean, on the other hand,- which it usually do, the climate gets colder and wetter.

The global average temperature sank by 0.5C during 2008. That's all the gain in temperature we have had since the turn of the 19:th century!

The Berings strait was unsailable the past winter for the first time in decades and a Canadian expedition team on the pack ice of the North Pole that was there to measure the global warming effects on the ice had to be air lifted out of there because it was too cold.

I'm not saying that this means that we are getting colder climate (or a new ice- age), but we are ceartainly due for it. To think that we humans has made even a slight dent in the climate of this 4 1/2 billion year old planet is - plane hubris.

Now I'm going to lit one really unnecessary lamp. THAT might save an ice bear or a lemming. What do I know? The climate resarchers, and abowe all, The Gore does not...

Tin foil hat time

Across the street of my home is a building, a very nice 1800:th one I might ad.

I had trouble sleeping- my knees was hurting- and I got out of bed and stood watching out of the window as I often do when I can't sleep. I don't do it so much for the wievs as I do it just for, well kind of meditating while composing (I know, it's sad).

Anyway, the old building across the street has a top floor where the lights are allways burning. This particular night (or morning) at around 3 am I noticed a covered truck driving over to the building. I thought that was odd at that time on a Sunday morning.

Nosy as I am, I went out "for some fresh air" and just "happened" to swing by the building. I looked at the name plates and they were all just ordinary Swedish names. One of the names- the one that was listed as the top floor owners was interresting. It was quite unusual albeit Swedish sounding, so I did an internet research and came up with the name connected to several apartments in the city.

Then I searched for mosques in the area, and what do you know- one was listed at precisely the adress at the building across the street.

Did not know this. It's, it's, it's...

ÄFS- short for Äldreförsörjningsstöd (elderly income support) are being given to "next of kin immigrant residents" who are over the age of 65 when entering Sweden. They are being given residency automaticly and ÄFS, which could be as much as up to 10 500 SEK ($ 1350) a month tax free! Without ever having paid a singel SEK in taxes, and on top of what ever pensions they get from their home country.

My projected folk pension is 10500 SEK before taxes! (That could of course change over the years. But I'm not holding my breath. Not when the (social democratic) government stealed 100 biljon SEK from the pension funds to balance the state finances.

Many pensioneres today lives on 5000 SEK ($630) a month and now the sitting government are planning to lower the pensions because of money shortage in the pension funds.

Yupp! That's the wellfare state for you...

...or Vaborgsmässoafton. Shees, another year gone by. Having your birthday at this day is kind of cool. There are a national holiday the day after, so you can sleep in.

When I was a kid I could not believe all the kallabahooga that was made just because it was my birthday. Fireworks, bonfires and an endless party, flags being raised and what not. Only later I discovered that it was an aincent celebration for the official springtime and that it also were the kings birthday. Bummer!

Having birthdays were kind of cool- when you where a teenager (or younger), you got presents, you had something to look forward to (driving license, buying alcohole), but why do we celebrate 50- year olds for instance? It's like saying to them that "Now you only have one third of your life left- you bastard! See you in hell!

My sister messaged me and asked what I wanted for my birthday and I answered that I wanted Lego Star Wars for the XBOX360 or pants in size 116-128. Yupp; thats how low I have sinked... A couple of years ago I would have bought me an expensive whiskey and partyed all night long- now I think more of what I need for my son not to go to kindergarten in bad pants or with the right game to brag about.

My son asked me the other day- "Why are you getting older dad?"
I answered- "Every body gets older as time passes by."
He asked-"Why are you not wearing old folks clothes then?"

Been away for a while. Done some surgery to my shoulder and when I came home I discovered that Blogger had suspended my account. In the mean time I have read a lot of blogs and taken part in political discourses at other (mainly Swedish) blogs. Some of it will end in a blogpost here.

But I am alive and kicking.

The main interresting things right now is ACTA, the Telecom Package, IPRED and the FRA legislation- all being propositions that will lessen individual freedom, in many cases run and proposed by industry lobbyists and [sigh]- France. What is it with these guys? Really? They laid down on their backs for the Germans during WW 2 and now crawls on all four for the record and movie industries.

I'm all for copyrights- someone doing something that some one else want's to take part of- should get paid for his or hers intellectual efforts. BUT! I also know that the industry are ripping off most of their artist (if not all). I have a friend playing in a much acclaimed rock band who after a whole summer of playing gigs atleast twice a week, was awarded 25 000 SEK ($ 3 100).

Dear Senator Harkin,

As a native Iowan and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as 'in-state' tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance.

Threats, stonings and arsons has had the fire fighters of Malmö to be tired. They are demanding more coarse actions from the commanders and the politicians.

After new threats on the night to Friday, when stone throwing escalated in Herrgården the emotions were higly strung among the fire fighters at the fire station of Jägersro.

Sweden set to break wind farm record

Sweden looks likely to play host to Europe's largest wind farm after a northern county gave its seal of approval to a major new energy project.

the Swedish government gives its green light as well, a total of 1,101 wind turbines will be built in northern Sweden at an estimated cost of 55 billion kronor ($6.9 billion), the Norrbotten county administrative board said in a statement.

Its environmental assessment delegation recommended that the government give the Swedish company Markbygden Vind AB a permit for the project. Stockholm is expected to announce its decision within the next 12 months.

"This would be Europe's, if not the world's, biggest wind farm," Caj Noren, a spokesman for the board, told AFP.

Construction could begin in two-and-a-half years and would be completed after about a decade, Noren said.

The wind farm would be located in Markbygden, west of the northern town of Piteå, in an area measuring about 450 square kilometres (175 square miles).

If and when the wind farm is fully operational, it would produce a total of eight to 12 terawatt hours per year.

The Markbygden project alone could thereby generate enough energy to meet Sweden's 2015 national wind power target of 10 terawatt hours per year. A terawatt is equal to one trillion watts.

The turbines would have a maximum height of 200 metres (650 feet), according to the plans.

Markbygden Vind AB is owned 75 percent by the Swedish group Svevind Holding and 25 percent by German group Enercon, one of the world's biggest wind turbine makers.

No contract has been signed yet for the construction of the turbines.

The late (and deeply missed) Kurt Lundgren are probably spinning so fast in his grave that he alone could generate 10 Terawatts of energy!

As he often pointed out; wind turbines are nothing but a hoax. They cost enormous amounts of energy=money, to produce. At any given day- even under ideal conditions about half of them stands still, producing nothing. To counter that, you need enourmous parks of accumulators to store energy to be used. The batteries themselves costs a lot to produce and have a very limited lifespan= more money (not to mention that the old used up batteries has to be taken care of somehow=more energy spent). If there are no wind- they produce nothing. If there are to much wind- they produce nothing. They break down at regular intervals, most likely it's the gearboxes who gives up. Replacing them costs even more money and energy. As you all know by now money=energy and energy= money. Money is just tokens of spent energy!

There is no way a wind turbine can produce enough energy to produce itself let alone give any excess energy.

So how is it that you actually can make profits from a wind turbine then?

That's because they are made with cheap nuclear energy! And furthermore, they are state subsided. That's MY tax money at work!

However you turn, your behind is at your rear end...

After looking in to it a little bit more, I discovered that an average wind turbine generates about 2 MW/year. That means that 450 of them would produce 900MW/year- no where near the 10 Terra watts that are spoken of in the article- and that's under ideal conditions! A more propable number I believe would be closer to 450MW or even less.

Also Wikipedia states that a wind turbine generates enough energy in ten months to make up for the energy spent building it and that the yield is on par of a factor of 5-30 : 1 under it's life span. What it does not say is what I remarked on earlier. The cost of a wind turbine "on the shelf" is NOT the actual cost of producing it, transporting it raise it, maintain it and the batteries needed! THAT cost is an order of a magnitude higher. Then there also is the esthetic factor. They are butt ugly!

Update no2:
Ok, now they report that it is going to be 1100 wind turbines. That still would only make up for 2200 MW a year, nothing remotely close to the ten terawatts they are speaking about. Every wind turbine needs a security zone of 200 square meters, that would mean that a wind turbine park like that would need 220 000 square meters to be deployed or roughly 50 soccer fields in size (well really 44 with the standard 2MW/Y turbines, but the security zone grows with the diameter and the yield of the turbines. Also maintainace roads and facilities has to be taken in to the equation, so 50 is a feacible number I believe).

Here follows an article published in The Weekly Standard in its whole. Some comments made by me are within brackets, any bold text are also made by me.

"This is how it was last time too," said a Holocaust survivor, when she was escorted from Malmö's main square by the police. "We had to leave the square, while they got to stay."

On January 27th, it had been almost a month since the Israeli military operation Cast Lead was launched in Gaza. A couple of hundred people, mostly Jews, had gathered in Sweden's third largest city, Malmö, to show their support for Israel. Their slogans--"Israel's right to self defense" and "Compassion with all civilian victims"--were met with shouts of "Sieg Heil" and "Damn Jews" by a group of mainly Arab and left-wing counter protesters. Stones, eggs, and bottles were thrown, and when a home-made bomb was fired at the Jewish group police finally decided to evacuate. The pro-Israeli protesters fled, while children ran after them with cell phones to report back into the crowd where the Jews were heading.

One protester I spoke with was among those who refused to run. "I already left Poland forty years ago," she said. "They will not chase me away this time."

Last Saturday, roughly a month after the mob met Jews off Malmö's main square, the city was again shaken by riots. Seven thousand activists gathered to stop a Davis Cup match between Sweden and Israel, and the demonstration march was also a manifestation of the ideological confusion that has become the trademark of the Swedish pro-Palestinian movement. Hamas flags and headbands could be spotted next to banners supporting communist groups and feminist causes.

[Funny how the extreme left (including the nazis and the izlamnazis) allways walk hand in hand, sometimes saying they are anti- fascists while having opted for a fascist ideology and using fascist violent methodes to get their message out!]

The

protesters were met by the largest Swedish riot squad since the anti-globalization riots convulsed the city of Gothenburg in 2001. In order to take on radical Islamists, left-wing extremists, and a small group of neo-Nazis that had announced that they too wanted to show their resentment toward Israel, the Swedish police prepared with 1,000 officers, helicopters, police vehicles on loan from neighboring Denmark, and a platoon of "dialogue officers." Dressed in yellow vests, the specially educated dialogue police officers were on hand to sooth the violent extremists. But despite the preparation, the police could not prevent rioting.

On their end, left-wing Swedish politicians worked to grant legitimacy to the protests. After war broke out in Gaza, a majority in the local Malmö council decided that no audience would be allowed at the Davis Cup games between Sweden and Israel. The representative of the Left Party (as the Communist Party was rechristened in 1990) made it clear that the decision was due to Israel's "genocide" against the people of Gaza.

The popular mayor of Malmö, Ilmar Reepalu, who is often referred to by the nickname "Malmö's strong man," is one of the most influential figures of the Social Democratic Party. He told the assembled media before the match that, were it up to him, Israel wouldn't be allowed to participate at all. "This is not a match against just anyone," he explained. "It is a match against the state of Israel."

Sweden hasn't subjected a country to a sports boycott since South Africa was barred from playing in the country during Apartheid. But Malmö's "strong man" has changing demography to consider. Of Malmö's 287,000 inhabitants, 50,000 are Muslim and 30,000 are of Arab origin. In 2004, the most common name for baby boys in the city was Mohammed. These population changes, of course, have far-reaching political implications. Or as Reepalu put it, when explaining the motivation for the Davis Cup boycott, "A large part of Malmö's population comes from the Middle East. Many have relatives in Gaza who have gotten in trouble. They are frustrated and angry with Israel's occupation." [Reepalu knows of course that an overwhelming majority of the immigrants is voting for his party- the Social Democrates.]

The heart of Muslim and Arab life in Malmö lies in the Rosengård district, located within walking distance from the city center. When the neighborhood, whose name means "rose garden," was built in the late 1960's it was a symbol of the ruling Social Democrats new egalitarian society.

Today Rosengård's population consists to nearly 90 percent of immigrants, originating mainly from Palestine, former Yugoslavia, Lebanon, Iraq, and Poland. Unemployment hovers around 38 percent, and 20 percent of the population subsists on welfare. [Actually the unemployment numbers are much, much higher than this. What's not being accounted for is that any immigrant who goes through SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) and those who are in "special governemt activities" does not count as unemployed. Among the muslim group, unemployment are calculated to be as high as 90%!] It is a neighborhood where fire fighters dare not go without police escort. The fire brigade has responded to assaults against its trucks by developing a new "methods of dialogue" with Rosengård's youths.

In December, the neighborhood was shaken by violent riots after a so-called basement mosque was not extended a new lease agreement. In response, local youths occupied the mosque, set cars on fire, and fired rockets at the police. In the Swedish media the riots were largely described as an expression of frustration and anger, due to social inequalities. [Actually, there does not take much for the "youths" of Rosengård to start rioting. The author takes up one exaple in December; but she could just as easily picked any month of the year.]

But Rosengård lies in the world's most generous welfare state. Those who cannot provide for themselves and their families have a right to social welfare, which according to Swedish law must cover the cost for food, clothes, shoes, leisure activities, health and hygiene, health care and medicines, a daily newspaper, a phone, living expenses, electricity, commuting to work, home insurance, membership in a workers' union and unemployment insurance. The frustrated and angry youngsters in Rosengård get health care at a minimal cost,

ree dental care, free school, and free college and university education, with the right to student benefits and loans. Social inequality is, therefore, a poor model for explaining not only a rise in crime the neighborhood has seen in the last few years, but also in political radicalization.

This way Rosengård not only stands as a monument over the once so egalitarian ambitions of the Swedish Social Democracy. The neighborhood has also become a symbol for the fact that too many of the country's Arab immigrants have brought anti-democratic values from their home countries; values that neither "dialogue police" nor the world's most generous welfare system has been able cure. And it is also becoming a symbol of a Western country that is prepared to compromise with those values.

During the war in Gaza, leading Social Democratic politicians, among them the opposition leader Mona Sahlin, appeared at protests where Israeli flags were burned and the Hamas and Hezbollah flag were waived openly. Sahlin, a woman who calls herself a feminist, seems to have calculated that photos of her under the Hamas and Hezbollah banners would benefit rather than harm her party. That way, Swedish politicians are also tacitly legitimizing the violence and harassment that the Jewish community is subject to. As a consequence, Swedish Jews feel increasingly unsafe.

Two weeks after Jews were chased from the main square in Malmö under cries of "Hitler, Hitler, Hitler," the Jewish community decided to organize a second demonstration. This time the police were prepared for violent counterprotests, and swiftly placed their buses between the two groups as soon as they saw signs of aggression. And this time, the Jews got to stay on the square.

One protester, a computer consultant in his mid-fifties, had still armed himself with a knife for the demonstration. His grown-up children, who had never before seen their father carry a weapon, wondered if he even knew what he would do with it.

"What do you mean what will I do with it?" he said with his thick Polish accent. "I will give you time to run."

Kurt Lundgren

I have often cited Kurt lundgren on this blog. Look down three and and four blogposts. When I haven't directly translated his alsters- he have often given me inspiration to my own.

He had one of the sharpest pens in the blogosphere, never afraid to say what he thought, especially about the high and mighty and other things that ticked him off (like for instance the growing izlamasation of Sweden).

He was funny and witty. Sometimes it was hard to know if he was joking or just being sarcastic.

After decades of being a journalist he had mastered the art of research and had a vast knowledge of a number of different areas.

Often one of the first blogs I read in the morning was his- Östra Ölands Fria Horisont. Go there if you know Swedish or just like to see some excellent pictures taken by Kurt (and his wife).

The last post he did was on Thusday 19:th at aprox 6:30 in the morning. Later that day he died.

Allthough I never had the chance to meet him in real life, it feels like I knew him. He will be missed by many. My thoughts goes to his wife.

New Rosengård fires 'revenge': police

Police in Malmö claim a recent wave of deliberately set fires in the city’s heavily-immigrant Rosengård neighbourhood constitutes an act of retaliation for recent arrests.

Almost every night this week, emergency services in Malmö have had to contend with young people throwing rocks, bottles, and eggs as crews ventured into Rosengård to put out fires set around the neighbourhood.

Late Thursday night into Friday, several dumpsters and a communal recycling station were set ablaze. Around 40 police officers were called in before firefighters could begin putting out the fire.

There were no injuries, although two young people were detained for refusing to move when instructed.

Police have made significant strides recently in neutralizing some of the more influential criminals in the crowded neighbourhood.

“According to our intelligence, the fires and stone throwing are directed toward us. The trigger is that we’ve succeeded in picking up five important figures from the criminal network which is ravaging the area. They are now being subject to a number of measures,” said Börje Aronsson of the Rosengård neighbourhood police force to the TT news agency.

Prior to Thursday night’s fires, people have set fire to cars, as well as rubbish bins in stairwells and basements, only to launch attacks on firefighters when they arrive to extinguish the flames.

In addition to firefighters, park and road workers and other contractors have also had rocks thrown at them.

Aronsson attributes the violence in part to the crowded living conditions in the area as well as the social exclusion that results.

“Rosengård is built for 5,400 people. But between 8,000 and 9,000 people live here. Children and young people don’t stay at home but instead are out late into the evenings and sometimes well into the middle of the night,” he said.

In the most troubled section of the area, Herrgården, adult [un]employment stands at 86 percent, leaving most of the residents dependent on social welfare payments.

“That’s a catastrophic figure,” said Aronsson.

When all these people later will turn on their lights again they will overload the powergrid to the extent that the wind turnines will start going backwards and start sucking up power instead of generating it!

A Canadian science team who was on the Arctic pack ice to measure the melting of it due to the "Global Warming" had to be air rescued because of the extreme cold with temperatures belowe -40C.

I'm going to turn on an extra light. Maybe that will save a polar bear or two- and possibly a doussin of lemmings...

What follows is so idiotic that it can only have one source, namely: EU.

In a memorandum called "Gender neutral language", the EU parlamentaries are forbidden to use words like; Fröken/Fru, Mr/Mrs, Madame/Mademoiselle, Frau/Fräulin, Senor/Senorita etc. Every word with "Man" in it is proposed to be forbidden.

You cant use words like "Sportsmen" instead you should use "Athlets".

Statesmen is a no-no, instead you should say political leader. Likewise are forbidden words like firemen, man-made, hostess, headmaster, policemen etc. All because of the EU:s language police.

As the Englishmen say's it- You can't make it up!

International donors pledged almost $4.5 billion in aid for Gaza earlier this month. It has been very painful for me to witness over the past few years the deteriorating humanitarian situation in that narrow strip where I lived as a child in the 1950s.

The media tend to attribute Gaza's decline solely to Israeli military and economic actions against Hamas. But such a myopic analysis ignores the problem's root cause: 60 years of Arab policy aimed at cementing the Palestinian people's status as stateless refugees in order to use their suffering as a weapon against Israel.

As a child in Gaza in the 1950s, I experienced the early results of this policy. Egypt, which then controlled the territory, conducted guerrilla-style operations against Israel from Gaza. My father commanded these operations, carried out by Palestinian fedayeen, Arabic for "self-sacrifice." Back then, Gaza was already the front line of the Arab jihad against Israel. My father was assassinated by Israeli forces in 1956.

It was in those years that the Arab League started its Palestinian refugee policy. Arab countries implemented special laws designed to make it impossible to integrate the Palestinian refugees from the 1948 Arab war against Israel. Even descendants of Palestinian refugees who are born in another Arab country and live there their entire lives can never gain that country's passport. Even if they marry a citizen of an Arab country, they cannot become citizens of their spouse's country. They must remain "Palestinian" even though they may have never set foot in the West Bank or Gaza.

This policy of forcing a Palestinian identity on these people for eternity and condemning them to a miserable life in a refugee camp was designed to perpetuate and exacerbate the Palestinian refugee crisis.

So was the Arab policy of overpopulating Gaza. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, whose main political support comes from Arab countries, encourages high birth rates by rewarding families with many children. Yasser Arafat said the Palestinian woman's womb was his best weapon.

The Swedish government has implemented ambitious tax reforms. However, the average taxpayer still pays three out of five earned kronor in taxes. And the public is still unaware of the extent of taxation.

In a survey conducted a few years ago it was shown that the majority of Swedes vastly underestimate the amount of taxes they pay. Half of those questioned for the survey believed that they paid 36 percent or less in taxes. Many do not know that the so-called hidden taxes are approximately as high as the visible taxes.

In Denmark political parties to the left and the right have agreed on implementing a tax reform that means the highest marginal rate of tax on labour will be reduced to below 50 percent next year. The same tax rate is 57 percent in Sweden. If hidden taxes are also included, the total highest marginal tax rate on labour is a full 74 percent in Sweden.

Now- not everybody has a 74% marginal tax. Most people does not pay governmental taxes for instance. But the average tax pressaure for the average Svev Svensson is about 57% (including payroll tax and social taxes + excise taxes). And that is after the alliances tax cuts!

Where does the money go?

I know that several sweet millions of the taxpayers money goes to places like Russia (whom is sitting on the second greatest cash reserve in the world), and other fine places like Gaza, the West Bank, North Korea, China, Cuba, Venezuela and Zimbabwe amongst other places.

My tax money at work!

And our seniors are being fed slobber at the senior service centers, which they have to pay for never the less.

We also have one of the most expensive tax payd health care systems in the world. But do we then also get the best health care? Well we can look at it like this. Everyone that can afford it or are willing to take a loan goes abroad for health and dental care. There are actually charter trips to countries like Estonia where you can get care fast, cheap and proffessionally, often by doctors that have been edjucated in Sweden- edjucation that is free! They actually get paid for it. With whos money? MINE!

"Activists" has promised- or threatened- with mass demonstrations, against Israel of course.

My son has stayed at my sisters over the weekend. His maternal grand mother passed away a couple of days ago, and he did not want to go there just yet. I had to take some responsibility and had to go there, fixing things.

When I called my sister this morning I asked how it all had went, she said that all had been fine, even though the poor thing had to take care of her own two grand children aswell as my son.

She said that the boys had a drag, and I told her to stop my son when he had run in to a wall for the 20:th time.

She told me that at the kitchen table- when eating brakfast- my son wanted to make himself a sandwich. She said to him (when he was trying to spread butter on it) that "it was probably better that she would do it insted. Because the butter was hard and it would be hard for small boys hands to spread it".

My son took a long look at her and said: "What about old aunts then?"
My sister is 52...

The social democrates in Sweden want to make the question of free movement of patients and medicare a question in the coming EU election.

They are against it.

The social democrate Åsa Westlund motivates it like this.
"Not everybody has 100 000 or 200 000 to spare. I want all people to be able to seek the medicare they need and then you can't have a system where those who has the means can go first in line."

The problem is that to day- to day- only those who has money can buy medicare in medical facilities abroad!

The right alliance want everybody to have this opportunity- everybody!

This is what the social democrates calls to give health care only for the rich, which is a tounge biter, not to say even direct dishonest.

What it really is about is that the social democrates are worried about is that if there were free movement of patient care, that might point out the fact of that the Swedish health care are unnessecary bureoucratic and expensive.

So the social democrates would rather see children with cancer die than let them get their care in another country.

The cancer sick patient- Fredrik Berg- was denied an operation in Sweden. He was told that he had somewhere between 2-12 months left. He paid up 200 000 for surgery in Germany in stead. He is feeling fine to day. He says: "What could I otherwise have done? It's the best descision I have ever made."
He now hopes to get some insurance money back from the departement of health [I would not break up the Champagne]. This is socialism in a nutshell. If everyone can't be equally prosperous then everybody shall be equally miserable...

The Europeian parliment's environment agency has proposed that the mobile base stations effects should be turned down, out of concernes of the "radiation" effects on people.

If they turn down the effect on the base stations it will only mean that the mobiles itself will turn their effect up!

And of course it will result in more expence for the consumers as this will result in more antennas and masts being built to cover connection, with no less radiation being made but just spread over a larger area.

Medics upset over 'gender-based' abortion

A doctor in Sweden has asked health authorities for clarification after a woman twice had abortions carried out upon learning her fetuses were girls.

The woman in question was already mother to at least two girls when she once again became pregnant and visited a health clinic in central Sweden.

Initially, the woman requested an amniocentesis in order to allay concerns about possible chromosome abnormalities. At the same time, she also asked to know the fetus’s gender.

While there was no medical reason to go through with the amniocentesis, the procedure was nevertheless carried out.

The test revealed normal chromosome development and that the woman was carrying a girl.

Six days later, the woman requested an abortion which was subsequently carried out.

Pregnant again at a later date, the woman returned to the clinic and once again requested an amniocentesis.

This time, however, her request was denied.

One month later, the expectant mother scheduled an ultrasound screening. During the procedure she asked to be told the gender of the fetus.

The midwife carrying out the examination told the woman the fetus was a girl.

The same day, the woman scheduled an abortion, which was performed four days later.

“The above matter has given rise to strong feelings among those involved who, perhaps justifiably, believe that the patient has gone through two abortions because of [the fetus’s] gender,” writes the head of the clinic, Kaj Wedenberg, in a letter to Sweden’s National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).

Wedenberg explains that his staff has asked him to draw up guidelines on how to handle similar requests in the future in which they “feel pressured to examine the fetus’s gender” without having a medically compelling reason to do so.

“In part, I wonder if a caregiver within the public health system has the right to make reference to their own views and the dominant view in our country about gender’s equal value, in preventing a patient, with perhaps a different valuation, from learning the gender of the fetus,” he writes.

Wedenberg adds that he wants the agency to provide additional direction on what his rights are as head doctor at the clinic to overrule other medical professionals which may have different appraisals of what sort of procedures ought to be performed for “medical, social, or psychological” reasons.

Swedes who demonstrate over Israeli attacks are not anti-Semites. Calling them names is an attempt to silence criticism of Israeli policies, argues Stockholm-based Palestinian Alaa Kullab.

[No it would be far fetched to call Hamas and Hezbollah hang- ons anti semites considering that they almost exclusevily are semites themselves! Not hard to denie any anti- semitism then! What they are is anti jewish and anti israelian. That's racism and nothing else]

In an article published on The Local this week, Israeli journalist David Stavrou argued that much Swedish criticism of Israel’s actions in Gaza had turned anti-Semitic. Politicians and demonstrators who gathered in Stockholm’s Sergels Torg did not understand the reality of the Middle East, he claims.

[And right he are. People actually believe that the only democracy in the area are to be blamed for the so called "palestinians" hardships when it in reality their own "governments" are to be blamed.]

Slinging accusations of anti-Semitism is easy. But why do people in any part of the world need to be professors of political science to go out and demonstrate against the killing of civilians, when they see it happening and broadcast live on their TVs?

[And it does not take a professor of political science to understand that most of those "civilians" are not civilians at all. Just because you does not weare an uniform does not make you a "civilian", and let's not forget all those human shields that are so popular in use within hamas. There are irrefutable evidence for this!]

Let’s be clear – hatred and agitation should not be tolerated, but people should also beware of how they describe events in the Middle East. The following statement from Stavrou’s article could also be seen as a subtle form of agitation: “Swedes, as lovers of peace and freedom, would be wise to encourage those who fight these forces of evil thousands of miles away or they might find them in their back yard. If they're not there already.”

Accusations of anti-Semitism are a tool used to silence anyone who criticizes Israeli policies. But would any one criticizing the policy of Iran be labeled as anti-Muslim or anti-Persian? Are critics of the Chinese Government routinely described as anti-Chinese? Is condemning the Saudi Arabian government anti-Arab? Surely aggression, military occupation and violations of human and political rights should not be put beyond criticism?

[Are people that critizises arab and islamic politics anti arab or anti islamic? I bet that in your eyes they are. "Surely agression, military occupation and violation of human and political rights should not be put beyond critisism?". Ah, here you put the hammer on the nails head. You just described just about every islamic state on earth and a few more that are not states at all (like the gaza strip and the west bank), we can even chuck in some none islamic states like Zimbabwe and Venezuela and the likes. The common factor is that they are all theological or socialist states- or both. The fact is that Israel STILL is the only state in the area that can be described as a democracy.

Stavrou’s article also claimed: “there is no Israeli occupation in Gaza”. This is technically true - there were no Israeli forces inside Gaza – but it ignores the wider reality. Israel controls the air space, sea coast and land borders; the people of Gaza are prisoners, - within their prison they may have internal self-rule, but they are not free

Why does not the people of Gaza concentrate on building or buying airplanes boats instead of spending billion of dollars on rockets and mortars that they fire in to Israel? Let's not forget that the people in the Gaza strip allmost exclusively consists of Egyptian arabs. Egypt who has built their own wall bordering Gaza. THEY does not want to have anything to do with their own kin. Why would Israel? And still, the Gazans reliy allmost exclusively on Israel to get in goods, power and water in to the strip. And they repay it by sending suicide bombers in to Israel (when they can) and on a daily basis shoot rockets and mortars on to Israelian soil. Shees!]

Since June 2006, the Palestinians have been paying an unimaginable social cost as they are collectively punished for electing Hamas as their government. This despite the fact that Western monitors agreed that the election was free and fair.

[Ahh, but the nazi regime was elected "free and fair", that does not mean that the nazis brought about anything good! Another thing- under twenty days of barrage and land operations "only" 1500 people died (4-500 according to independent sources). If Israel had wanted to, Gaza would have been a parking strip right now. That -in my eyes- shows how exquisitely the IDF did do, not to harm any civilians. Mailbombing to let people know which places to avoid, even sending out SMS:s and calling up people to warn them. If you are a true civilian and still lingers around hamas facilities after that- then you deserve what's coming.]

Since Hamas has been in power, Gaza has been sealed and no one is allowed to enter or to exit for any reason. The people of Gaza have been put on what Dov Weisglass, an adviser to Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, mockingly describes as ‘a diet’. Palestinians, he was quoted by The Observer as saying, will be kept thin, but not be made to die of hunger.

[Yes and rightly so! After the walls sealed Gaza off the suicide bombings have gone down almost to nil. I also remember a TV report showing a family in Gaza sitting on the kitchen floor saying they were starving, but when the camera panned through the kitchen it zoomed in on a big pile of food stuff and botteled water on the floor of the kitchen. Needless to say that it was all of Israelian brands. Before "Molten Lead" there were some 1300 trucks passing over the Israelian border in to Gaza with supplies and goods every week and to my knowledge that is the case now too, save for UN trucks that has stopped going in to Gaza because they are being robbed by hamas men repidetly. Also, 92% of all the power in Gaza are distributed and delivered from Israel; power that the hamas "government" repidetily has not payed for!]

The only way people have been able to survive this far has been due to the tunnels that smuggle food and goods from Egypt. The illegal blockade was enforced to keep Gaza under siege - starving, humiliated, diseased, and exposed to selective assassination. The place was effectively turned into an open air prison. Only barely enough food and fuel was allowed to enter to hinder mass disease and death.

[So one and a half million people can't subside themselves! There are almost no farms, no live stock farms and no other industry to speak about. Their only export are figs, but the Israelians yields ten times the amount of figs from a comparable area. 90% of the tunnels to Egypt was used for smuggeling weapons and explosives- something that there seems to be no shortage of in Gaza. Hamas let their people starve while spending Europeian and American tax money on quassam rockets!]

Richard Falk, the United Nations Special Reporter for human rights in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, said the blockade subjected "an entire human community to life-endangering conditions of utmost cruelty." Falk called it "a holocaust-in-the-making" and appealed to world governments and international public opinion "to act urgently to prevent these current genocidal tendencies from culminating in a collective tragedy". One can agree or disagree with this statement, but can not label it as anti-Semitism; at least he, Richard Falk himself, is Jewish.

[Once again. There are no blockade against food water and medicine! There are however a blockade against free movement of people, something that is sad but a reality that have almost to a hundred per cent stopped suicide bombings inside Israel! And once again. Why does the writer not condemn the Egyptian wall and the Egyptian policy of shooting every Gazan that tries to enter Egypt?

That Falk is Jewish does not proove or mean a thing. There are ceartinly miljons of muslims in the world that are deascent peacful people- that does not mean that they all are- or that the core problem does not lie in islamistic violent teatching, something that is extencivelly being taught in the schools in Gaza.]

Let us forget about Gaza for a while, and assume - since it is ruled by Hamas -, the people there “deserve” what happened to them.

Let us instead talk about the West Bank ruled - theoretically - by Mahmoud Abbas, “the man of Peace.” The crucial fact to remember here is that the whole West Bank has been under military occupation for almost forty two years, forty percent of its territory is occupied by illegal settlements which have been built since the 1970s (before Hamas even existed) and almost six hundred road blocks separate cities and villages from each other.

[Oh come on! The west bank is indeed occupied.- By arabs! The West Bank was Israelian territory thousands of years before anyone ever had heard of arabs, or "palestinians" a constructed people of 6/4 1967. Get it! On the West Bank allmost all (besides the Jews) are Jordanian arabs! THEY are the occupiers.]

Culture workers and taxes

In Sweden, you can get your hands on tax payers money:
A) If you work to preserve old art or other old atrefacts of interrest. And.
B) If you work within the schools of arts.

That's right. You don't even have to sell anything or make anything that people actually want. You still get your hands in the cookie jar, supporting yourself on the behalf of the taxpayers.

A) is OK! I'm totally for people and projects that preserves artefacts of interest.
B) on the other hand, is just crazy! Most of the money goes straight in to the pockets of thousands of Self righteous, Left leaning dumbvits that can't support themselves on what they are doing! Because if you take a random culture worker, in 99 cases out of 100, you can be pretty much sure that they votes for the socialists. And why would they not, their livelyhood depends on the socialists giving them hand outs! So option B is nothing more than hand outs to the socialistic parties.

Why not give the people tax cuts instead, so they can go and spend it on whatever culture they want. May that be Disney on ice or to watch art collections in museums.

The gratest painters in history never got a penny for things they did not sell. Neither did any of the greatest composers or other artists of any other kind.

You should get what you deserve and deserve of what you get. Nothing less, nothing more. I'm tired to pay people of whom I have never heard of even, with my tax money!

The TV- Licence

The TV- Licence is something you have to pay here in Sweden if you own a TV- set that can acess Public Service Television (PST).
It does not matter if you actually watch the stations, or want them, it's enough if you can acess them.
And if you have a TV plugged in you have them no matter what!

For the first time in five years I actually watched a program yesterday at PST. It was a hockey game. The Swedes beat the Russians 4-3. I enjoyed it. My son also watches the kids shows on PST. So I pay up. A lot of people does not, even if they have a TV.

But this "licence" is nothing more than a disguised tax! And they want all people to pay it. So what did the braniacs at SVT come up with?

I get to that in a minute.

I have a friend, an old university buddy of mine. He does not own a TV set. Not out of spite but out of uninterrest. So he does not pay the licence.

But!

Here's the genious part of SVT:s evil plan:

My friend owns a I- Phone, and a computer with internet acess. They both can get to material on the internet; and now SVT has descided to put out all their programs on the net, which means that he will still have to pay for the "TV- License" in the near future. It does not matter if he actually watches anything, it's enough that he got the means to do it.

So for not having to pay this tax, he has to chuck out his cellphone and close down his internet connection (theoretically- I smell some civil resistance around thte corner).
SVT believes that they will gross in another biljon SEK on this grand scam.

It is with great interest that I read your speech delivered on September 26, 2001, titled "Technology, Business and Our way of Life: What's Next" [sic]. I was particularly interested in the story you told at the end of your speech, about the Arab/Muslim civilization. As an Assyrian, a non-Arab, Christian native of the Middle East, whose ancestors reach back to 5000 B.C., I wish to clarify some points you made in this little story, and to alert you to the dangers of unwittingly being drawn into the Arabist/Islamist ideology, which seeks to assimilate all cultures and religions into the Arab/Islamic fold.

I know you are a very busy woman, but please find ten minutes to read what follows, as it is a perspective that you will not likely get from anywhere else. I will answer some of the specific points you made in your speech, then conclude with a brief perspective on this Arabist/Islamist ideology.

Arabs and Muslims appeared on the world scene in 630 A.D., when the armies of Muhammad began their conquest of the Middle East. We should be very clear that this was a military conquest, not a missionary enterprise, and through the use of force, authorized by a declaration of a Jihad against infidels, Arabs/Muslims were able to forcibly convert and assimilate non-Arabs and non-Mulsims into their fold. Very few indigenous communities of the Middle East survived this -- primarily Assyrians, Jews, Armenians and Coptics (of Egypt).

Having conquered the Middle East, Arabs placed these communities under a Dhimmi (see the book Dhimmi, by Bat Ye'Or) system of governance, where the communities were allowed to rule themselves as religious minorities (Christians, Jews and Zoroastrian). These communities had to pay a tax (called a Jizzya in Arabic) that was, in effect, a penalty for being non-Muslim, and that was typically 80% in times of tolerance and up to 150% in times of oppression. This tax forced many of these communities to convert to Islam, as it was designed to do.

You state, "its architects designed buildings that defied gravity." I am not sure what you are referring to, but if you are referring to domes and arches, the fundamental architectural breakthrough of using a parabolic shape instead of a spherical shape for these structures was made by the Assyrians more than 1300 years earlier, as evidenced by their archaeological record.

You state, "its mathematicians created the algebra and algorithms that would enable the building of computers, and the creation of encryption." The fundamental basis of modern mathematics had been laid down not hundreds but thousands of years before by Assyrians and Babylonians, who already knew of the concept of zero, of the Pythagorean Theorem, and of many, many other developments expropriated by Arabs/Muslims (see History of Babylonian Mathematics, Neugebauer).

To night when I was going home from work, a car slammed in to me.
I don't remember a thing about the incident, I only woke up in the emergency ward.
My left shoulder is jammed, aswell as the left knee. So Now I have two bad knees!

I have a dent in my skull that is... well- humungous!
I don't know what it is with me- maybe bad karma...
I must have done some really bad things lately.

I have no idea where my bike- or the remains of it- are.
And now they have shawed me again!

What have I done to deserve this?

Update:
I came out of it with two cracked ribs, a concussion, an AC- contution (oh boy does that hurt!) and a splinter fracture to my leg right below the knee joint. I'm having a very interresting colour on large parts of my body- my left leg, my upper torso (but for some reason not my face who took a pretty bad blow). I even have a very interresting logo shaped bruise on my shoulder. It's perfectly retangular with two "wiggleys" or lying down S:s.
Anybody knows what car make that is?

I have no idea! Can't remember a thing.

Well- atleast I'm walking around (kind of) and my son has a new thing to brag about at kindergarten. HEH!

It only hurts when I laugh! Well nearly, it also hurts when I try to sleep, coufghs, seneezes and so on.

On my way home, my crutch slipped on some ice, my bad leg gave in and I fell to the ground.

When I'm trying to get up, a police van drives up to me. Two polices came at me and asked me "How I was doing".

Then they frisked me, taking all the stuff I had. They asked me if I had anything sharp on me and I said "Yes I have a multitool in my right jacket pocket".

Both polices- a man and a woman- emidiatly put their hands on their pistols! Then after taking the multitool they cuffed me and put me in the van.

I was like; HUH? This is like a scene from "Cops".

So there I am, asking if I atleast could make a phonecall. But no!

After five minutes they released me, gave all my possesions back (save for the multitool for some reason) and let me go on home.

The day after, I read in the papers that there had been an unussually violent night in the city with many fights between different leftist groups (AFA and nazis). I was all dressed in black casual clothes and that might have been the reason that the cops took me, as that is the "uniform colour" for both fractions.

BUT! How dangerous did they really think I were? A man with a crutch?
And I want back my frigging multitool!

Sigh!

The big environmental scam

I woke up very early this morning- my leg was troubeling me as usual. I went to look out the window of my sons room as I usually do when I try to compose. (I know it's sad- but it helps me...).

When I was standing there, I looked over the street where there are a waste sorting facility.
They have some 8-10 waist bins for different kinds of trash. One for uncoloured glass, one for coloured glass, one for paper, one for plastic waste, etc, etc.

People spend hours of sorting waste in the right manners.

Commendable and very invironmentably friedly! You think?

What I saw (but was not surprised about) was a trash truck driving up to the facility, loaded all the waist in the truck, compressed it and drove away.

And that is how it works!

As a dear friend said to me: "Everything can be burned- it's just a matter of temperature!"
So here we are, having several different waist binges, sorting our lifes away, for what?
Well, atleast my apartement is kind of warm!

And the green muppets just don't get it!

Language-again

When I lived up in arctic Lapland, I for some time managed a service station. It was a combined petrol station with a quite large store area with mostly car spare parts but also a quite large section with food.

The patrons of the store was mainly "normal" people, but once in a while you got in people that could not speak Swedish very well.

It could be Samis, tourists or the "LKAB Fnnish" speaking people. Now the LKAB- Finns are pecurilar. They consist of people that never really had learned any Swedish at all. It's not Finnish either- in it's own meaning, but a pecurliar mix of Finnish, Swedish, English and German.

(Note: LKAB is a very big mining company)

The people in the mine allmost exclusively speaks this "pigin" language and some never learn to speak proper Swedish (or Finnish- or any other language) at all.

By the way. The LKAB mine is quite cool. I believe they are down to 1200 meters at this point. The "Mammoth trucks are aewsome and there are four lane roads going everywhere. They have a cafeteria which goes under the name "Hard Rock Café" at the 550 meter level!

Anyway; this guy came in to the service station one day in January. He's in his sixties and are one of the typically persons that can't speak proper Swedish. (Or any other language).

He asks me: Vassarumättarikollapåliköli? Roughly translated to English it would be something like:"Wherrearrrthemettertolookaththhelikole?"

I went: Huh?

He then repeated his question twice more, me going "HUH?" every time.

I thought about it for a while and because I'm cunning (pointing to my biceps) and strong (pointing to my head), I got the idéa that "Why dont I just take him for a stroll down the aisles? Sooner or later he must find what he is looking for"

So, there we went off in to unknown territorys.

After a while the patron got tired and shouted to me: "Wherrarrrthemettertolookathhelikole?"

At this time I got somewhat desperate. But I started to think (finally), I remembered that Finnish speaking costumers for some reson pronouced glycole as "liköl", so I asked him if he wanted to use the glycole meter. His answer was "Ye´I tol´yo´so from the begin´".
